SRs across the board need heavy nerfs, they are by miles the best race and it's genuinely not close rn. If the devs stopped playing favorites and paid attention for maybe 1 day this game would be in an incredible state.
ngl all they really have to do is nerf everything for speed because all of the moves can get out of a combo and just spam and tap every button to the point u can't get out and people say it's not op but i had to go against 13 people with the same build back to back in ranked
As a Hakuda main with more than a single brain cell I really appreciate the nerfs, but some thing werent necessairy. I feel like they should apply more nerfs to long air strings rather than air moves in general. I usually do sum like tora into grand on gehenna and then continue on the ground. The only issue I currently see is how dependant Hakuda is on your partial/schrift/shikai because of how limited your range is (I miss m1s while standing inside of others pretty much.) If I had the power to rebalance it, I'd probably do something like every airial variation ends your combo but in exchange you get more ranged or auto track/bigger aoe moves.
It’s almost impossible to have a completely balanced game, once you start adding more stuff there is going to be endless possibilities for combos, this means there will always be some unbalanced stuff wether you like it or not, but one thing I like about the game is how the managed the blocking system, you can try and perfect block stuff mid combos, that way there’s almost no actual true combos in the game and you can actually escape some stuff, but people shouldn’t expect a game to be fully balanced to the 100%
every build is gonna have its strength and weaknesses. some builds, especially the mythics, should be challenging to fight... but not so braindead that a brand new player can win (ex. duality). however, on the flip side if duality wasn't so versatile or kyoka wasn't stacked utility wise, it wouldn't be so fun for the highly skilled players. i kinda like the slight inbalance, but hopefully things reach a point where i'm not getting stun-locked/1 combo'd by str8 dumb shit
all it really comes down to is the player skill level and what they are useing and what are they fighting. ex: a new player vs a hakda user the new player not going know how to fight it so they say "nerf hakda" simply becuse they lost someone who was using it now if a good player fight that same hakda user it be diffrent story becuse they know how to fight it do to there time in the game and how good there in it there not going sit there a take the dmg no there going fight back and counter it. ok now let say both players are really good at the game both are useing diffrent stuff it will go down to there skill level even tho one bulid might be better then the othere but if one know how to counter that. That person will win the match and both will say "gg" it aslo come down to play style we have the passive and the aggreser the passive will probly play something that help them they way the play like kido anything or a res/volt/shikai that has a good amount far rang movies. the aggreser will probly play kendo or hakda or speed do to it dmg and how will it plays for them and how it help them beat players.
NOT EVERYONE CAN BE GOOD AT TYPE SOUL PVP PVE is an option its that simple the gap will always be there people talk about balancing like its the end all be all good players will be good and mediocre players who think they are good will be mid regardless if you can parry and play cooldowns game is ez played hakuda from release on arrancar it got gutted moved to kendo kyoka hit platinum 7.00w/l got formless and now every1 i fight says to nerf that sorry for waffle but no matter the build people will complain and the balance team consists of top ranked players already btw
I feel that skill is a factor up to a certain point in the game if you have two skilled players one using Water Formless with the other using Duality formless you'll see a clear difference because of the "combo" potential in both shikais plus duality just has better benefits. Even still tho the point that im trying to prove is that everything New shouldnt be unbearable to fight
