In my opinion, masters in the US isn’t necessarily required for a good civil job, PE would be better. General contractors are always hiring civil engineers, where you can become a field superintendent or project manager, or little bit of both. Pursuing Project manager role would suit women a bit more. Working in the field requires very thick skin and hands on field experience to succeed.

I would ask you where do you want to stay? New York or Boston. Opportunities will be great at both place. But at the end of the day your experience will be different in NYU. Look into finances and make a decision. I always say bigger the city bigger the opportunity. Good luck 😉

@@tithisathwara5441 Chances of you getting job are the same after your master's and PhD in my opinion. If your goal is to get a job faster I suggest a masters, but if your goal is to phd then go for that. Salaries are the same for both degrees.
