Learn the 4 types of hypersensitivity reactions in eight minutes. Type 1 hypersensitivity reaction is associated with allergic reactions. Type 2 involves cytotoxic and cytolytic processes including blood transfusion reactions. Type 3 is mediated by antigen-antibody complexes. Type 4 is the delayed hypersensitivity response which is cell-mediated.
