My absolute favourite mango is also “Starch”. Unfortunately, this type is not grown where I live. If I had to make 1 wish, it would be a basket full of these mangoes💜 🇹🇹🇬🇩
Wow, I never realized the history and education behind mangoes, we just took it for granted growing up. Thanks for the educational lecture and knowledge of mangoes.
Thanks for this, I will be sharing it with some friends in NYC. Dr Laura is a wealth of information. Unfortunately I am Team Julie, I left the starch on the ground but I will pick them up and burn them 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love mangoes a lot. For some reason where I'm from in the hilly part of st Ann Jamaica we hardly get any. The trees are big n they blossom but on average they don't produce much fruit if any.
As mango is my number one fruit., I'm enjoying this interesting information. I honestly do not think so much about the name, etc. I just enjoy. 😍 Thank you.
When I was a boy in T'dad back in the 1950s I was not aware of mango starch, the professor's favorite. We did have Julie, Calabash, mango rose and my absolute favorite, those small doo doos (not sure of the spelling). Regardless of the type, munching on a mango seed is pure heaven.
I LOVE THIS! Great video. Love Dr. Laura's mango tutorial. As you enjoy your mangoes don't forget to sing the mango song: 🥭🥭Mangoes, mangoes, mangoes. Mango vert, mango teen Mango vert, mango teen I want ah penny to buy Mango vert, mango teen Give meh ah penny to buy Mango vert, mango teen Mango doux doux sou se matin Savez-vous all for me Mango doux doux sou se matin Savez-vous all for me. Mangoes, mangoes, mangoes 🥭🥭
Some say it's the soil, some say it's because it's cooler, or we get 2 much rain or when we get it. . If it's a very dry year we get better yield . we have gotten only 5 or 6 showers since year with 2 of them being Sunday n yesterday. I saw fruit on Most trees but with the dry they have been falling off premature. Hopefully the rain has come the right time.
i love this! and i legit never wanted to eat so much mango in my life. also, i realised i'm a level noob; i didn't realise the amount fo variants of mango we have.
So much useless information in this video. It could be made so much shorter. It's so painful to have to listen to half an hour just to extract something useful.
