Some things not covered by Sahil: 1. Thesis based programs have guaranteed scholarships/funding. Basically you won't have to pay for tuition fees. 2. TA/RA etc are generally only given to thesis based students. 3. Most scholarship awards need a research proposal. 4. Most research projects are related to an industry partner. 5. In general research is highly regarded in Canada. If you don't have job experience then in my opinion thesis based is better than course based program for you.

Do u think I can get a course based masters right after btech if I have done many internships? Total experience would be more than 1 yr of internships. And many colleges also say that prior research is strongly encouraged. Is that also the case for course based masters?

I would be thankful to you if you help me in knowing whether Windsor provide only thesis based LLM or CoUrse based too. & windsor provides 2 year LLM with certificate in teaching...
