Mexican and latino isn't a race though, my cousin's are Mexican and salvadorian ( my parents are ) they don't look dark , except if they tan , and since latin America was invaded by the spanish there's a good chance they have over 50% Spanish blood with some indigenous of course since many people mixed . I see what you are saying though ,most people who are Mexican or any of us other latinos have a strong sense of identity so much that if you have one parent ( sometimes you can have a parent who's half Latino and another that isn't at all and they will still say I'm Mexican , salvadoreño etc lol 😂)p.s My friend lol is literally your same mix , his dad was Irish American and mom Mexican american( probably mostly spaniard and Aztec based off what he has told me).You have a nice demeanor and hair btw.
