@@parthmhatre8330 - It is a pitch created away from the ground or venue hosting the match, which is then 'dropped' into the site before the game. They can easily manufacture a batsman-friendly drop-in pitch with a combination of soil, clay and grass.
Dead pitches are the ones indians get everytime they are in australia, all the bouncy stuff is saved for the ashes to unleash against the English and the less rich cricket boards like sri Lanka, west indies, Bangladesh etc.The ball just struggled to raise to head height whenever the indian team's in Australia, I wonder why?
@@YashovardhanSinghPariharhe meant bouncy pitches are not used in ind vs aus or any other series. They save it to hit the English batters on the heads.
lol mate do u even know the greenest perth optus wicket was used for India vs Australia , Sydney and Melbourne have always been flat , Gabba and hobart and perth support pacers and Adelaide for spinners. sydney day 4,5 as well .. we never accused the pitch no matter where we go , and we have quality fast bowlers who could exploit the conditions well !!! teams are feared to give green tops and such wickets !!
if green pitches are considered as good contest between batsman and bowler where bowler is in higher advantage then why dead pitches aren’t considered as a good contest where batsman is in higher advantage??
The pitch has no effect or cause in the ball swinging. The ball swings because of atmospheric conditions and the ball swings in the air before it makes contact with the surface. If the facts had been correct this could have been a good video 3:33
No, it is NOT in any way OK to order a ground crew to produce a wicket that favours anyone, especially when the result is unplayable. There are certain standards that must be maintained. If you produce a wicket that favours your side, that means your side is weak, and not capable of winning on a neutral surface. It ingrains that weakness into your side which means you can't win overseas. The doctoring of pitches kept India a second-rate power in Test cricket for decades.
I did like the information but Didn't understand why only non indian batsman and bowlers were shown in the video..? No Ganguly, Not Dravid and No Sachin Tendulkar.. also there was no Kapil Dev, No Bumarh.. etc.. hence I disliked this video..
Lol England crying over pitches in india makes us feel like dealing with kid who only wants to win and can't digest losing. I think its fair to make pitches which help spinners else mostly game is for batsman and pace bowlers. Infact if you compare the man of the match ratio, mostly it's the batsman who have higher numbers which again is unfair for bowlers.
I still can't understand why grassy pitches have more bounce. Grass in the pitch makes pitch quicker due to low friction but how does it make the pitch bounce. Isn't it hardness of the pitch makes it bounce?
Pitches depends on type of soil. So many years experts are working on to make fast and bounce tracks in India. Not possible They tried even laid down pitches To get exposure of pace and bounce it's needed to make fast and bouncy wickets in India. I remember Sachin Tendulkar saying his best century 119 he made against Australia at waca Perth. Was fastest track in world that time. Experts who runs criket in India. Request them we want to see even contest between ball and bat. It's best site to see very good batsman facing good bowler on sporting pitch Not able to see these days Cricket becoming batsmans game 🙏
Mohali was a good fast bouncing pitch before 2015. Now it had become typical slow subcontinent wicket which is slow and turning from day 1. In the past it was a blowers paradise. Now spinners are the king on mohali pitch. It is so sad.
