Hello, in this video I will show you the different types of plugs and sockets that can be found in different countries.
You can see the fifteen types of plugs classified with the letters that go from A to O by the International Trade Administration (ITA) of the US Department of Commerce.
We will see the nominal currents and voltages as well as the different regulations that define them internationally.
We will see which plugs are grounded, which are polarized and which have partial insulation, aspects that influence plug safety.
We will also see the compatibility between the different types of plugs and their outlets.
