You forgot THOSE people who play songs on expert in co op mode to fit in, but just end up bringing the team down because they can't play that level yet

personally i skip the stories when i first unlock them, then come back and read them when i feel like it :) i like to binge the event stories all in one go

I'm a story reader bc I like the characters they're interesting and I just love it. My friends also play project sekai but they're more on gameplay than story so they are definitely the players who skip stories for rewards

2:03 it's gotten to the point where I have to say to myself over and over again "I am playing for fun, I do not need a full combo" Also in the first day I was doing it, I almost got the intense voice of Hatsune Miku on master, (BUT MY FRIEND MESSAGED ME 😭) so I'd say it actually weirdly helps?

They seriously should have a training mode like other Miku games

I read all the stories because they are so charming and aren’t just purely wholesome and superficial stories like in some other games. I expect a full combo. I was a new player that has played rhythm games before about a year ago.

I’m the “every time I miss I have to restart” when I haven’t fc a song, and I’m the “every time I get a great I have to restart” when I’m trying to ap. Then, the one who actually reads the stories. ALSO WHY DO I MISS AT EXACTLY THE LAST NOTE I SWEAR.And then, there are songs where I think their finished, and I would have gotten an fc, but no, there’s like 5 other notes…

The people who read the stories are always so appreciated of the characters and I love that

I like how the beginner /new player is actually accurate because most beginner players play on the easy level and normally get a a good enough score just because it’s on easy level. It’s not like a new player would go on the hard level and miss all the notes, because that is very unusual unless it is an experienced player who started on a new account. Like I said, when I started project sekai I just played on easy levels and did just fine by going off with perfect or great notes, and I think that’s for most beginners. I also haven’t played rhythm games before, so I strongly believe that some of these 'type of player' videos are stereotypical for beginners and other stereotypes of how people play. Though this one was accurate in my opinion, obviously, tell me otherwise if you don’t agree. I still believe it is different for all players.

i’m the first and the last one, lol. Also the sibling one is accurate. My 10 year old brother asks me to play sometimes and is like: "this is easy", proceeds to lose on normal, and is like: "this is easy. I just didn’t want to win" or something. Lol. I recently managed to clear some songs on hard mode though >>:) Also, i mostly read stories.

I am absolutely the second one -- have played a lot of Cytus 2, Bandori, and Phigros which all have batshit charting and you know what the absolute pain I go through with those games has definitely made me better at Project Sekai

i think i'm a story reader but if the story doesn't appeal to me i can skip it for a reward so i can get a card in a particular gacha i like and read its story if i like it too, also type “only beginner” mainly because I'm always looking to get into the hardest charts, but in my opinion I'm not ready for that yet. Although, comparing how I started and how I clear charts almost a year later, my skill may have changed a lot :0 English is not my first language tho. I’m sorry if there are some mistakes in my comment!!

DUDE! This is so true 😁 The "player expects a full combo" and " every time player misses a note they feel like they have to restart" is EXACTLY what Im going through with this game. Unfortunately they're getting to be quite a bad habbit....im making the high full combo the purpos of why i play the games instead of having fun, same with the missing notes thing. Any advice?

The beginner would be missing left right centre if they haven’t played any before Like I was and I used to play piano tiles everyday And the sibling one is so true I ended up saving bc one day my brother spent like 300 gems on continuing bc he has no idea what the hell hes doing

The second one is me. I was playing bandori for around 2 months, but my only full combo was on easy. When I installed pjsekai I magically starred getting many full combos on normal, I guess this game is better for me 😍

“Easing themself into expert mode” deserves a spot here. That’s me. I’ve been playing for abt a year and a half and I can’t play expert for the life of me, but I’m trying to teach myself by doing harder and harder songs on expert-bcs with previous modes I would just move up a notch when i was bored of the current mode or felt like I could do better-having to actively teach myself how a level works isn’t something I’ve had to do before and it sucks tbh

the audio delay on the sonolus one made me laugh 💀 also i dont think im any of these, im the average-skilled player who all their friends say is pro/tryhard and needs to touch grass LOL

I don't understand why someone would skip notes bc of the lyrics. Like, if you're uncomfy with the literal entire topic of the song, just don't play the song!
