To whomever would listen: I just wanna make it known that I feel very depressed having to consider this surgery. In 2019 I lost 80Lbs in 5 months naturally, but then gained every pound back! I hate that I can’t control my weight gain. It’s just depressing…

Good luck with your weight loss! You did it once you can do it again. What diet were you on to lose 80 pounds? Ive been counting calories and that works for me.
In 2014/2015 I went from 265 to 205 with calorie restriction and lifting. I have been trying to lose again ever since. I am now 305lb and getting my RNY in April. I feel like a failure but I am not willing to live like this for the rest of my life. I want to be active again and not be in pain. Sad I didn’t do this after my initial regain. I just thought I could do it again. Everyone says that I should be able to do it again, not helpful. I have tried a lot of diets and calorie restrictions. Every time I feel down about having to resort to surgery I remember how happy I was feeling strong and active. This is a tool that will get me there.
I had the sleeve in 2015 I’ve just had a revision to the bypass. It’s a totally different experience and much much nicer tbh. For me I had terrible terrible reflux from sleeve where I was regurgitating on my vomit in my sleep and aspirating on it. Do I regret the sleeve - heck no! It put me in a very good frame of mind for going through the bypass. But, from my experiences the bypass has so far (two weeks out from conversion) been far more comfortable than the sleeve.
None of the surgery options sound ideal to me. This video (and others) encourages me to get back to strength-training type exercises and stick to portion control and healthier eating. . . Worrying about future complications from having vital organs messed with doesn't appeal to me. No way. But good luck and a big Hug to those who take the Weight Loss Surgery plunge. God Bless you, brave ones. 🙂
Tell us smth we don't know, if some1 is clicking these kind of vids it is because of the absence of willpower to keep the lost weight...so it turns to these extreme measures, it is a lot easier said then done...😏😏
I think there is a type of Duodenol Switch with lower operative risk than is indicated here... SADI-S. I don't know if it affects any of these other factors, but if you are looking into Bariatric Surgery you might want to get more information on the SADI-S in particular. I think it has become more popular over time.
For weight loss the bypass is better because you have a smaller pouch and you bypass a lot of area that would normally absorb things from the food. The sleeve is almost like a normal route except they have sliced your stomach off into the shape of a banana.
I had gastric sleeve surgery on August 20, 2021, my surgery was done in Tijuana. I started out at 225 lbs at the end of the fifth week I weighed 193. And I haven’t lost anything in 3 weeks and I’m belching a lot after I eat. I take 20 mg of omeprazole in the morning and 20 mg omeprazole in the evening. I am concerned that somethings went wrong because I’ve stopped losing weight so soon and because of the belching, what should I do?
@@OnlyOneNia that’s right. Cause when stuff like this happens we can go get help from our doctors and not have to whine and cry online because you went to a country that can’t even return a phone call to you quick enough if you need help.
It would make sense since it both reduces stomach size and intestine length, but one massive benefit from at least some other options is that it retains the pylorus valve, which is a vale between the stomach and the small intestine. I think this valve is completely removed in gastric bypass. -not a doctor, just an opinion from someone considering and researching the procedure
Hey David, do you know someone named 'Charlie Kelly'? He is missing for a few days. Frank wants to know where he went. The last time they were together was in Ireland. Mac thought he is an Irish and he is right. Charlie is Irish as well. But David, you do not sound Irish. Look, are you Charlie's fadaar?
