I followed your tutorial to make the effect but I missed the blinking cursor to look like the typing effect so I created an addon that does this

Thank you, you helped a lot! I added color to my text also! Is it possible to put the same text on the curve? It would mean a lot to me if I could set the curved text and be able to move the curve as I see fit.

inbetween the fill curve and the group output, add a set material node and choose the material you want. hope this helps!

brilliant, thanks - could you do something like convert text to objects and then colour/texture them, or is that a completely different operation altogether

You can apply the material on the geometry nodes itself by adding a "Set Material" node at the end of the whole setup. But for UV mapping and so on, I suggest you to search on RU-vid, you'll definitely find something useful.

How would you convert it into a mesh, to like extrude so i can make it more deep on my scene?

got it, i just added an extrude mesh node after the fill curve node

You got it right. You can also extrude it without converting it to mesh by adding an "Extrude Mesh" node after "Curve to Mesh" node. But if you're going to apply materials, bevel modifier and so on, it's better to convert it to mesh. Good luck.
