Typhlosion Burn Up + Tera Fire = BROKEN in Pokemon Showdown!!

Burn Up is supposed to remove the Fire typing form the pokemon, so the move can only be used once. With the new Tera gimmick you can spam it!

I think he made correct decision since ditto was scarfed into burn up and typhlosion could just buff itself up with work up and then slowly kill with solar beam

My guess is that ditto was scarf so it only could use burn up, the real typhlosoin would have pp stalled ditto out to struggle

I usualy use burn up as a second option when running typhlosion and instead opt for choice scarf tera fire eruption which does insane damage as well.

Fair but if you are going to terra anyway why not just stick with burn up? Same base power with literally zero drawbacks, like not having to worry about hazard chip.

But roar gives you negative priority so you take a hit. Why not just use that turn to use work up? Same amount of moveslots and turns used but then you don't have to also sacrifice your item

You mean sacrificing Gholdengo for a free switch in? It wasnt useful anymore against any of the remaining pokes Edit: because of this he couldn't rapid spin, so his Garchomp and Katana would not outspeed Typhlosion
