Your uncle speaks so well.พูดน้ำไหลไฟดับเลยอ่ะ😛(explained in detail)😊Thailand is not different from America in that people of all nationalities and languages come to live...everyone is welcomed.
Thank you for the reminder. I walk about 6 to 8 km almost every single day. But I definitely need to start doing more exercises. The food here is just so delicious and I have to be careful. 555
Great video, lots of fun. You are so right, things are so different during the day. Such a fun place, great suggestions, and awesome video! I need to go try that pizza!
Going to subscribe now! Saw a few of your videos and you are giving me major FOMO, I love Bangkok, and hopefully, will travel soon, meanwhile following you! Cheers!
Wow, there are so many great options for Hotels, Restaurants, and Markets. Etc. People need to stay and look around Bangkok for at least a few days. Instead of jumping on the first bus to Pattaya.
Hi Serg I signed up to your channel yesterday and I find your videos are really interesting For the past 15 years I’ve watched other videos I’ve been okay but they seem to point the camera at bars too often and so the shower in the real Thailand I’ll be in Bangkok in December if I see you around I will come over and say hello many thanks keep the great work up God bless.
Hey Steve! Welcome to the team. There are lots of other great RU-vidrs here in Thailand. However, I know exactly what you mean. I doubt I will ever make any kind of night life videos. If you see me wandering around December, definitely say hello. Hope you have a wonderful trip.
Great video I just came home and back in the states from two months there and that was one of my favorite places they have a salmon and salad plate that’s really good. My girlfriend had never had a Cobb salad and now she loves it.
Now that is a man size salad! I cannot believe how affordable that nice haircut was was. Great that you can live in such luxury at an affordable price!👍
Hi Serg! When you first arrived in Bangkok for your permanent stay, did you ever have second thoughts and think to yourself...."What the hell did I just do?!" I hope to retire in Thailand from Southern California in approximately 5-7 years. Until then, I plan to visit often to get more acquainted with the country. Similar to you, I was born in Bangkok but grew up from the age of 2 in SoCal. My desire is to live out the second half of my life in Thailand and getting to know the country of my birth. I've visited Thailand 5 times since leaving as a toddler but I still feel like a foreigner there. Your channel offers me an insight to what it's like for an American to move and to live in Thailand. Thanks for you videos!
I made a very large commitment Kevin. I sold my house, and everything else that I owned in America. The only thing left back there is one small file box of my high school yearbooks and some papers. It was a complete commitment for me. Honestly, I never felt like “what the hell did I do“, but sometimes I still feel like it’s a bit of a dream. There are many days when I’m inside a shopping mall or inside my condo that I forget where I am. Fortunately, all it takes is one step outside to remind me that I’m in this country. And I mean that in a good way.
@@LifewithSerg Thank you for your insight Serg! Has your quality of life actually improved since moving to Thailand? Are you much happier than you were before when you lived in NorCal? I feel that the US is a great place to make a living but Thailand is a better place to make a life!
I lived in NorCal for 41 years. It was great, until it wasn’t. Don’t want to get into politics. My quality of life improved when I moved to Austin. Lived there for 11 months before I moved to Thailand. Austin was lots of fun. I have wonderful memories but I don’t miss California at all.
@@LifewithSerg be careful about the portion i think its bigger than salad factory haha... oh another thing i known that u like toy. i would like to recommend MASARU japan store. Next to BTS Phra Khanong very easy to get there. Have some 2nd toy and other stuff and yeah air condition haha
Loving the whole trips and excited to go along with you. You just have “quarter pounder “ especially for Thai people, perhaps because they have smaller tummies.😁😁😁🤣🤣, you might be surprised here in US cause the sizes and portions of food here getting smaller and the prices keep going up.
Great work as always Serg and that salad was huge!! Good chatting to you and Rob on the livestream and it looked like you both had a great night out the other night 😎
Hi Serg thanks for your beautiful Impressions, your interesting comments and the nice Markets. I think already now how it is when I live in Phitsanulok. I think everybody can create his own happiness and paradise wherever you live. I don’t take many things to Thailand because I’ll don’t miss anything from Germany. Thailand is a beautiful country. Not perfekt perhaps, but perfect for me and of the happiness of my life. I never felt so well since I met my wife and know where’s my futures place. Have a nice evening and enjoy every moment in Thailand. I wish you always the Best because you’re really a nice and sympathetic guy. I’ll travel in 5 weeks. I can’t believe after 34 month of suffering. Bye Manfred
I miss my friends and family for America. However, I don’t miss the ugly divisive rhetoric that is being spewed by the current administration. When you come here, you will be able to start your new life. Five weeks will go by so quickly! Enjoy all the things German while you can.
@@LifewithSerg I understand you completely. But I have nobody and nothing in Germany. Since I changed the job soon 6 years ago I met new friends in my team. But after my separation end of 2015 I lost all. So i was alone till I met my wife. But don’t scare anything because I have a strong character. Now I got a wife and her family loves me because I wrote my own paradise. Sometimes we get more then we ever expect before.
Your hotel looks awesome ☑️ I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in Thailand over the last 6 years and your room is the best I have ever seen and for 2,200 Baht is a good price 👍
It’s a really nice hotel Dan, and the location is great. Now keep in mind, as I mentioned, they upgraded me to this room. The room I paid for was a superior studio which was still about 44 m². I stayed in that room for a couple of days and it was great. This was an April of this year when few tourists were still coming to visit. Now I’m sure it would be unlikely that they would just give an upgrade. But they really spoiled me with this giant suite. 😁
@@LifewithSerg I live in Buriram and don't normally Travel around that much but when COVID struck and the restrictions where in place I travelled everywhere and I even enjoyed Pattaya 😂 I was surprised how cheap hotels where which was great and I was even more surprised with how clean the beaches and streets were! That room you stayed in will be a fortune to pay for now 😂 but at least you got a great deal 👍
Yah I just looked. It’s 4700 now. Although even when I booked the studio, this suited was 2800. I’ve learned it never hurts to ask for an upgrade. It also helped that I had already stayed there for 5 days in a studio.
@@LifewithSerg very much so. if god is willing I will go to my summer place to day :) there is no internet there so there will be radio silence but with some luck I will post a official video of the fishing trip :D
Great video! Thank you for sharing more of your daily adventures with us! 😁 Just a note on the size of US food versus... pretty much the rest of the world... US sizes are WAY bigger. Chicken in the US isn't healty as it is often pumped full of hormones and antibiotics, as well as they are bred to grow from practically nothing to slaughter weight in 12-6 weeks. This makes the chickens practically unable to move as they are unable to support their own weight. That Thai chicken wing looked pretty average sized for me, as a Swede. As did the QP. When I was in the US, one of the smallest sizes of chicken nuggets I could order at the airport (that wasn't in a kid's menu) was 12 pieces. The biggest size we have in Sweden is 20 (And we've only have that for like... a year?), and I usually share that with a friend! 🤣 Before that, a 9-piece meal was the biggest size you could get here! Comparing sizes when it comes to food will always make the US the 'winner', but the quality of the food is a lot better at most places! ❤
The portion sizes are definitely much bigger in the US. These chicken wings were ridiculously tiny though. I’m glad you enjoyed my silly adventures. More coming soon!
Hey Serge, haha that barber was my first experience of a haircut in Thailand, can't say it was the best, insects, bad hygiene, anyway, now my regular is 'Male Barber Shop' 120 baht just off Thong Lor, near that famous mango sticky rice place. And for anyone reading this, that salad factory is the best in bangkok hands down, consistant, good value for money, but can get busy in the evening. Judging from the locations of some of your video, I think I'll run into you one day!
I like my cut. I told him I came because of your reco. He knew what I was talking about. I’ll be back. Moving to Soi 49 this week so not too far. Cheers!
Have you try OHKAJHU salad. I guess Siam square one branch not far form your hotel just take BTS to Siam station. Please try and record to your Vlog. How you feel?
The second bar there was opened by an American military man who’s nickname was Cowboy because he other wore a cowboy hat. A new paper columnist gave it that name and it stuck.
That quarter ponder was the size of an American quarter. 🤣 It’s shrinkflation. It’s happening everywhere. Companies are shrinking products and charging more money. Wow. That’s a huge salad; I have to try that on my next return to Bangkok. Excellent views from that bathroom. Wow. Hotel rates have doubled. You’re becoming a local, Serg: them tourists will be coming after the monsoon season 😂
I probably shouldn’t have said double, but they were 50% higher. I’ve definitely noticed read hikes on a variety of things since I arrived here four months ago. The amount of tourists has already increased greatly.
@@LifewithSerg I was there this time last year and almost everything was closed; it was very sad. But do enjoy yourself before all the tourists flood back in later this year. Wait. It's almost 4 am and you are still up. Insomnia?
Weekend train Night Market on Srinakarin Road is still open and it is sooo BIG because Antique Section there. But trafic is so bad due to unfinish sky train (yellow line).
So, there is no way to make your hair appointments, you just walk in? You know why I am asking, if I try to do that here, everyone would look at me like I’m crazy.😆
Hey man. Don't you feel people's eye and they are looking at you. Most Thai people wore masks and you are not. You should be careful to make RU-vid in Thailand too. Thailand is one country which have lots of illegal guns. You should respect and be careful Thai people.
you seem to really like In nut area. Actually I was raised and grown up in On nut area too! Now I move to Bangna and quite miss my home area after seein yr video
