Also I want to apologize for the video and audio quality. We had a few technical issues on the last stream but we'll be sure to improve as the streams continue. Next episode should look and sound way better, Love y'all!
Yeah these latest prices have been insane 4K vbucks for a car, 2k for a festival battle pass and only 1k for the tmnt pass which was better then the festival pass. the prices just make no sense and need to be fixed the game just doesn’t really feel super alive anymore something about it feels dull
I have to be honest. TG is a nice guy, but he's the last guy I want to hear from. The big streamers like him will never really rip into Fortnite. That's his cash cow. That's business for him. He's not going to crap all over what he's built his brand on. He's better off if he's positive and just streaming the game for kids, while making maps for more money. Notice, he got super quiet when yall were being critical of Fortnite. He will NEVER be negative about Fortnite. I've never seen him say one negative thing ever.
Yup they don’t have as much time for it because they’re doing yearly chapters which means everything is rushed it’s a typical company thing to do to make more money in a short amount of time while trying to spend less money it’s ridiculous and it’s not really the developers fault
It's funny the some big Variety content creators and returning old fortnite content creators like Timthetatman, Dr. Disrespect, and Myth used to play fortnite Consistently back then. But nowadays, they only play and stream fortnite a few times when there's a new chatper or major new season comes out.
I genuinely stopped watching TG when I noticed the repetitiveness of his content. I’m just too old to be seeing the same concept recycled over and over again. At least Lachlan, for example, mixes up what he does with his random challenges sometimes and often is just more entertaining. I feel TG really suffers in the “realism” department. He just seems too animated sometimes when I watch his videos. SypherPK is approaching that point as well. The biggest thing with Sypher though is that he didn’t use to be that way and now it’s got me scratching my head, trying to figure out whether or not I should stop watching him too. I feel the redeeming factor in the way NickEh30 does YT is that he was always that way, on stream and off, and his over the top reactions to things can actually be funny. The state of Fortnite content creation is a massive L in my opinion. Creators that actually were hands down amazing have stepped away from the game and the few unique ones aren’t getting enough exposure. It’s kinda like the Fortnite Creative problem. Now, I’m not saying I think these RU-vidrs are bad, like the recycled Fortnite maps, I’m specifically pointing out their content. I’ve felt this way for a while. TG says that the Fortnite audience is older but I don’t believe that. I’m 17 years old and I truly just can’t sit through a TG Plays video anymore. Yet, I can watch Lachlan or LazarBeam or even Fresh (when he was around). The essence of their videos was just better in my opinion. Sorry, mini rant over…
I'm much older than that, and I'll be more blunt. TG and Sypher are fake. They make videos purely for money, and the over the top reactions and fake enthusiasm are just to get more views from kids. Fortnite is purely a means to make money to those guys. They recycle the worst type of content. Fashion shows. Hide and seek. Trolling streams. Etc. Just to milk kids for every last cent. They are the worst part of Fortnite RU-vid these days. Sypher wasn't always like that, you're right. He gave up and is making bad content. I stopped watching him at least 3 years ago.
@@Klarque_Clint I did, and I know you went at it from a more constructive, professional angle. I try my best to not be completely biased and be somewhat respectful. It becomes harder when what needs to be said can be insensitive to others. You’re a great example of a RU-vidr that needs and deserves more exposure. I don’t feel like you would bend your format to fit the repetitive algorithm that most other Fortnite Content Creators abide by. Keep up the great work! It’s always great to see a brother thrive!
The moment they decided to go with yearly chapters is the moment they killed the story because now they don’t have nearly enough time to really implement it and the game seem very stale without it not to mention there’s not as many updates in mid season when it comes to the map and other things because again everything has to be rushed they can’t implement enough things per season because of this new change and all these companies do it to make quick money and I can respect that but it hurts the game and it hurts the Fanbase and the payingcustomers. So I don’t agree with him when he says that there’s plenty of content the game is still fun but no I don’t think so When it comes to content and especially story
Typical Gamer isn't going to say anything bad about Fortnite. He never has. All those big streamers just look at Fortnite as part of their business. Why would they crap on their own business and what makes them money? Guys like Happy Power and Klarque Clint are different because their channels involve commentary. Typical Gamer just streams to kids and being cheerful (fake) is what he's known for.
In my opinion, the current season is too simple, the only new mechanics were the weapon mods, which are cool but too simple, we need the augments back and Add more fun items to the loot pool
i think that depends on when you came to fortnite. i stared chapter 1 season 3 and left chapter 2 season 3 because i felt the game got too silly and over the top. i came back for og and stayed around for chapter 5 because of the simplicity. meanwhile, players who came to fortnite in chapter 3/4 love the chaos and arent finding the old school simplicity any fun.
That’s crazy cuz I remember yall were all complaining that the game isn’t simple, “we miss how simple the game was” “Fortnite was fun when it was simple” and now it’s simple and yall are still complaining, this community is Ass 🤦♂️
@@Comicedits39 fr the community keeps complaining about small shit like how they wanted C1 map to come back and when it came back ppl still complain about it 💀💀
Look different? You had Donald mustard leaving and took alot of good people with him.. which put the story and continuity to levels of tripe. then you add in Lego, racing, and music.. Then epic fires tons of people. Then you have cheating devices and software running rampant.. over 30% nearing 40% So now the problem with glitches are abundant... there is no story.. everything is basically generic. Now you gunna have a new mode with Disney, which will divert the necessary resources to fix the game to non-existent.. This won't be getting better anytime soon...
Most of the stuff you just said it seemed very good for the game and then some of the stuff you said are just outright lies because there is a story( the underground and the society), partnering with Disney and new game modes are a good thing. And a bunch of content creators have already discussed this but fortnite doesn't have a cheating problem at least compared to any other game, fortnite banned waves multiple cheaters at once. Fortnite is in a really good state, people who have never played fortnite are starting to play, people who quit in chapter 1 are starting to play, and there are more people playing fortnite than ever right now.
My current problems with the game: all the guns look the same, not enough gun variety in terms of design and functionality, theres only like 1 sniper now, and the map isnt vibrant enough Also the frenzy shotgun is absolutely broken
this cant be me right but is Fortnite slowly becoming like cod, not with the attachments but in a way how its getting old and its going to try to stay relevant
@@TheIncisaurMan yeah i get what you mean, to me it feels like some of the weapons are too serious, back in the other chapters we had some more wacky weapons.
Great podcast. My issue about chapter5 is that they release an update where peely quests appear to new players and not even showned on the menu and still didnt fix those. Also i hate the new locker , looks like a pubg a lot. It should have been like this , character - racing - festival. 3 sections of the locker only.
There are 3 parts of story quests planned that will likely release in the update this week so the Peely quests really aren't that story related as they are not marked as narrative quests they're marked as mini event quests according to IFireMonkey but the 3 parts of story quests that are planned are narrative quests
I honestly feel they have a lack of a story line this season and need bug fixes,Buff on guns, Price reduce With Skins and cars, locker UI But far is Like Epic not being afraid to Make Changes I'm all For the new Fortnite over the old Fortnite(OG)
I worry they are putting less effort and creativity into events, like Halloween, Christmas… I really look forward to these. It’s sad they don’t do anything with save the world.
Face it BR is dying and they dont care because they themselves are killing it , nevermind tho there will be enough to spend your money on and BR will just be an LTM
Ch5 s1 is really good because I love the map, the battle pass it's pretty solid, I love the weapon attachments, and I love the TMNT event the season got a little dry after WinterFest but the TMNT event saved the season
I've been saying it since the start of chap 5 the map is pretty good but every thing else is trash, well the movement was 90% changed back and its still the old movement in criative so I think next season it will be back to normal 100%
the map topic. i have a few ideas as to why its prolly not so "vibrant". I think cause it being only S1. and like he said .. it was covered in snow so there was that.. but also i think they had the Greek theme already in mind b4 Ch5 even started (i remember seeing some greek stuff b4 Ch5 also).. and if you know what Greek structures looked like from pics... its alot of greys, whites and the only real other colors i remember really seeing are shades of red and a lot of gold and stone statues.. and thats what is around right now.. the ground work for S2's greek theme.. so i feel that could be why it dont feel to "vibrant" as he said.. cause ancient Greece was alot of stone and gold and red mostly.. .but i feel as seasons go on.. it will prolly get better and more to it depending on the season theme (heres to hoping tho lol)
I like how you are drawing attention to Creative but i hate how the Legacy creators who TRULY know the history/truth about creative are ignored for BR creators who mostly have teams just making their maps for them! They may know some info like Typical Gamer does, but he doesn't truly know/understand UEFN like people like Richytoons, Mustardplays, DirectingPete, JakusCreates etc. I can't take BR creators seriously because its obvious they don't truly understand UEFN/Creative, especially people like Sypher PK etc etc.
EXACTLY, those creators with their own "maps" are just developed by someone else, TP, Sypher etc probably don't know the first thing about coding and level design
Yeah, they just walked onto the scene because they realised how much Creators get paid for maps now. Honestly they never struck me as genuine, they never bothered with creative before the revenue announcement, its just a bunch of big BR creators who are incredibly greedy, making rather bland maps and getting Hella plays coz of their BR audience.@@metalcup
Richy is on my list of must haves and we intend to have him on for a talk. I've actually tried to get him on my personal podcast before he was just busy. I think people need to understand that regardless of who we bring on there's something to learn from every creator. TG has a lot of valuable information to share and a unique perspective as someone that's not entirely invested into UEFN like some of the other creators mentioned. However, I think all of them have their place being on the pod.
I agree with that perspective, i just don't agree with people using big BR creators to represent UEFN and Creative. We have had big RU-vidrs, massive creators in the space for years that have a wealth of knowledge of not only the ecosystem, but the technical side of creative, and the struggles of our community. Some of these creators like SypherPK, TypicalGamer etc etc never even bothered with UEFN/creative until the revenue part of it was announced, as soon as they learned UEFN pays a lot for maps... BOOM here they are making red vs blues, boxfights, pits etc etc. It would be better for these interviews if you got genuine creators like MustardPlays, DirectingPete, JakusCreates, DreamScape, Richytoons who actually know the history of Creative and can offer genuine insight These big BR creators have strong insights, but its so obvious they have no clue what they are talking about half the time. Regardless of what they say, their teams do the most of the work, sure they might guide the team with a general idea of what they want, but they have no real idea of what creative is like because they never made the effort to try it themselves. Having them represent Creative on Podcasts like this genuinely annoys me.@@Klarque_Clint
@@BrandibuildsYT How did you come to the conclusion that they represent all of creative? Also if they have a passion and a vision for a map but don't have the time or the technical expertise to create it themselves do their visions not deserve to get recognized? If they have an idea that they build with a team that's fun for the community why would you not shine a spotlight on it? Also for other content creators that are in their position who have visions and ideas they want to bring to fortnite that are unique that require teams to build, are those experiences less valid then others who put in all the work themselves? The point is to highight different creators and talk to them from their perspectives within the community. You don't bring TG on for the same reason you bring on Richy Toons but both provide insane value. The gate keeping mentality of "not promoting the larger creators because they want money" is cringe. Bring different types of people on that are influential in this space and ask them questions suited for what they're good at. That's what creates a good podcast. Not creating an echo chamber of people that must fit one mold.
So many great maps out there and some of it is insanely impressive! I would love to see more single-player experiences too. It'll be fascinating to see what comes out of uefn in the future and how it evolves. Good stuff, man! 😁👍🏻
Fortnite is not hyped anymore Winterfest was great but waiting for 2 months we just got a cardboard box And the hotfixes are wierd back in the day they were usually2-3 weapons/items and some nerfs and buffs Now its a annoying or uselees weapon from chapter 3 or 4(no hate) I just wish that they dont abandon BR😢
Hey Klarque first of all great vid I rly enjoyed watching it and what you guys said was right, the game is really fun to play now especially with the tmnt update and the item shops got better too I just think that with all these new modes, creative garbage and the Disney takeover Fortnite is losing its identity
The map is eh, the movement is trash. The guns all feel extremely unreliable and it incentivizes the use of snipers more than ever, leading to people either getting ended instantly or body shot to zero health.
That's untrue... there are so Many parts of the map where you go underground, under train tracks or in the sewers. one of the two major groups in the story line are named the underground so I really don't know what you're talking about.
@@itsthugga1fazesilky I feel like it's not explained more and more. I kind of have trouble figuring out who is part of the society and who is a part of the underground.
Based off of what ? that seems like a very baseless comment.. unless they’re finally gonna start up the storyline add actual content in the season then it’s not going to work and maybe add a few more mechanics
