This is what a typical supermarket looks like in Russia. It's actually one of many different Hypermarkets, this one is Лента, a Russian owned brand. It looks the same across Russia, in smaller cities or as filmed here in Saint Petersburg.
I wish my supermarkets were this good and had this much variety. Shopping in Russia is easy and plentiful, with lots of vodka. It's laughable what the media says about Russian stores. What do you think?

I almost never go to a hypermarket because they are located mainly on the outskirts or outside the city, there are always convenience stores nearby, most notably Magnit or Pyaterochka and others

it's there in the store - this place was huge and I was trying to film discreetly and didn't film everything. I thought the fresh fish was more interesting to show.

Standard set in summer: beer, beer snacks - dried fish or meat, shish kebab, boiled or fried potatoes, simple tomato and cucumber salads, pizza

Мы от вас не отличаемся, когда собираемся с друзьями чаще всего заказываем пиццу, суши, роллы, шашлык. Ничего оригинального. А вот когда идём с мужем в ресторан, то берëм что -нибудь изысканное. Жареные гребешки, креветки в соусе из белого вина, такое что дома сам не приготовишь.

We do remember how many were killed at pro-Russian Donbass republics from the 2014 when war actually started by Ukraine : 14 000 innocent people !! 7 years Russia persuaded to stop it! So,Russia came to finish this war and we'll proceed up to the Victory Day! But frankly speaking, I do not see any connection between this topic and supermarket in this video. 😮
