I love the stories you create, it's what the hobby is about, as we all create stories with our own toys, but the existing wisdom is where the stories flow from. Please keep both of them in your videos. As someone who has been in to 40k for 33 years, both the existing wisdom and my own toys stories keep me coming back to the lore of #40k time and again

Actually - Tyranids taking more elaborate approach SLOWS THEM DOWN. Their momentum has been spent, they are fortifying to consolidate gains.... that kind creates permament menance that can be used at will or just treated as fact of life. I understand that concern, but I think that these changes *address, rather than aggreviates* real problem you mentioned. Remember, psychic things goes two ways and open vulnerabilities in Swarm at least for interaction. That is W40k asymptotic approach to resolution....

@@piotrd.4850 Two thoughts I had while reading your response, which I appreciate and find an interesting perspective: 1.) How can their momentum be spent if they have faster-than-light travel and, more importantly, are characterized as consuming the entirety of all useful molecules to maintain their pursuits from their obtained territories, meaning that consolidation of gained territory is part of the move forward into the galaxy, there IS no such thing as them spending time away from invasion to setup logistics in a way that negates from their advance that does not already fall under the well-known planetary conquering process. So how can their momentum be reduced through this..."consolidation"? 2.) From everything I have learned and heard of the tyranids, they are worse than the orks, meaning that VERY few worlds that have been infected by them have ever survived, and with a - what I can only call - success rate like that, how does that make them a permanent menace that can be considered a fact of life, the only fact I seem to be able to conclude is that they are a fact of un-life for 99.5% of all that they encounter. While your response approaches a soothing reply, I find my logical number-crunching superseding this relief you feel in regards to what you said as in the end, my concern seems not negated at all due to all I have learned about the tyranids, by way of the methods I have mentioned above. "...elaborate approach..." simply signifies that their success is even more likely guaranteed than before, speed is scarcely a concern when every planet and system engaged still ends up the same way, the only thing I find altered by your additions is that instead of 10 - 15 years, it may very well be 20 - 25 real-life years for the tyranids to end it all. Do you find my assertion correct? Because to me, it seems as though the conclusion of WH40k is already written and them slowing down doesn't seem to change anything. Oh and, could you explain what you mean by asymptotic approach to resolution? I understand that application of the word as: "roundabout but bluntly straightforward way" of resolving issues within the lore, would that be right?

I hope not, that would remove the mystery, the alien-ness and the pure cosmic horror of the Tyranids. Like when the Borg got a queen, and when the Flood were explained as to be dusty old guys.

I would ask if Tyranids are able to be eaten, but I don't think they are. Might be able to create an armor set out of them though.
