@@zeingreenleaf9854 zoanthropes are about the only ranged thing with the capacity to deal with heavy infantry at that price point, so throw 2×3 zoanthropes and a unit of barbgaunts in? Or 2×3 zoanthropes and 2×1 pyrovores?
@TacticalTortoise Thanks for the shout out on my Death Guard list. FYI my name has only one T in it. ;) T's are expensive I can only afford the one. For other DG folks I used -1 WS/ -1 BS exclusively in the whole tournament. Its easy to get to a -2 effective with -1 to hit in shooting, and -1 to hit in melee to infantry from nurglings. :) Should be noted my 5th round was green tide, i lost a unit of nurglings, plague caster, and one 5 man plague marine squad. Have fun!
Noah becoming a regular feature he's a great Tsons player - I've noticed he does love chaos spawn at least they'll be keeping their regen rule for Tsons for now!
Always makes me happy to see when someone takes Neurogaunts. They´re honestly so underrated! They are excellent deep strike deniers, spread synapse, they easily screen off large portions of the map, you can tie up big scary thing or simply use them as cheap 45pts home objective holders. They definitely deserve a spot in every Tyranid list. They are certainly one of my auto includes.
Ryan Costellos won a GT with a list that is actually balanced and not pure cancer? That warms my heart, especially after the toxic lists we were seeing for a while
And it looks like he is running Straken solo without attaching him to a Catachan squad?? Pretty unconventional but I can see it. That plus the 10 Rough Riders is very interesting. Definitely a lot more fun than the Kasrkin/Bullgryn/Artillery spam we've been seeing recently.
