Oh, what’s that - your plan is backfiring on you now? Gee, must be because you’re retarded.” The only one since then that had a semblance of substance was Team Plasma in the character of N, but even all that got whittled down because of instead of jumping straight into the moral dilemma of using Pokemon, the game took a step back and made Plasma evil instead of having a point. even Ghetsis was as eyerolling boring as a Scooby Doo saturday villain. I appreciate that instead of going the lackluster evil team route, GF actually decided to make relatable stories that fit their narrative in this game - which is an academic approach to the League Challenge. Team Star being victims-turned-heroes-turned bullies with a bad reputation was great because bullying is such a very relatable experience - how often have bullied students HOPED for someone like Team Star in their life?
@@a.x.x8184How did they fall off? Lusamine in Gen 7, Chairman Rose in Gen 8, and Professor Sada/Turo in Gen 9 are literally just like the antagonists from Gens 1-5. They’re all serious villains with more complex motives that want to change the world in some crazy way. Just because the evil teams are more lighthearted and comic relief doesn’t mean we don’t get your more serious Pokémon villains anymore. It’s like you haven’t even paid attention to the later gens at all.

Penny's theme song is absolutely trash, I remember I was listening to my Switch on headphones and when I battled Penny, this song felt like *someone drilled a knife into my eardrum*!!!!!
@@Ash_Melodie yes, the story was good, but super predictable. I was more shocked when Clavell claimed to be Cassiopeia, but I felt it in my gut that Penny was really Cassiopeia. Path of Legends was the legitimate best story of the three paths we were given. I wasn’t expecting to cry just from fighting Titans to buff my ride, but I almost did.
I love how They' really went in on the ost this time I think the music in scarlet and violet is overall great, I mean overall the franchise has great osts, but imo Sword and shields ost was not as good as older entries, however enven that had a few tracks I thought were really good, but Scarlet and violet has so many bangers, bops and jams.
