very interesting that those two were the top in the same class. two very stylish attacking slashers who could snatch ankles like crazy, but neither had to bounce to be a jordan/kobe type. neither could shoot threes for shit until late in their careers (or should i say, career, because lance never shot the ball well), the league kind of left them behind. sucks man, because i still believe they could have been legitimate stars, especially with their flashy play and enjoyable personalities on the court
One of only 4 players all time to average 20 5 and 5 their rookie year... won roy with the kings... definitely did not ruin him, he just never had players around him. Cousins didn't develop into a superstar until he was gone
Beau Brady he's a wing player. He's no point guard. I remember watching him his second year when they MADE him their point guard. I remember a lot of dribbling around and tough shots.
funny how people are so fascinated by whats basically childs play for these pros, almost any gaurd can do this, and some forwards too, but it is a gift to see this talent in the end
Hit the rookie wall, but finally get some of that awesome potential coming through in him, was always going to be something big, hopefully he'll be a long term king and he and t-rob can breathe some air into sacramento and keep them there.
He's a 6'6 gaurd with arguably the best handle in the league. He's extremely versatile and has the potential to be even a top ten player. Even better if he can improve his defense. He has all the tools offensively and defensively.
Coaches will stress moving without the ball. He is the only player I've ever seen that moves without the ball, when he HAS the ball in his possession. That's why he is so elusive.
I wish the Kings would start him at point guard like they did his rookie season. I think he needs the ball in his hands at all times to put up big numbers
he fully extends his arm and palms the ball so he doesn't have to jump as high. Imagine if he fully extended his arm like that and jumped as high as he could O_o
if u think about it being on a down team gives him more of a chance to embrace the being there best player role and dominate so its not that his team sucks its that he needs more playing time on that team
Tyreke could easily be a Top 5 player in The League if he wants but its him that's holding him back...Oh! and maybe because he plays for the Queens too.
