His finishing at speed is what's so impressive to me. Full speed (which is blazing fast), off balance, taking contact and his layups and floaters are still borderline automatic. Add in the fact he's now a knock down 3pt shooter, and you have an absolute nightmare for other teams, especially when they already have to figure out what to do with Embiid and Harden.

Harden should play offensively back to his previous Houston form. Maxey acts as Thompson or Ray Allen to stand in the 3 point line to shoot 3 more better.

I want to substitute Tyrese Maxey in for Quez Watkins. We've all seen what Desean can do, Give Maxey a year to study up at WR and we're off to the races. I'm sure the Sixers will be fine without him on Sundays.

Maxey is great offensively and has high potential, but I am wondering about their defense. Both their starting guards, assuming their Harden and Maxey, are a liability to ok defenders. Embiid is a great rim protector but he can't hide those twos permimeter mistakes. This team is should be built around Joel and hopefully they can surround him with perimeter defenders

I hear you! I do think the rest of their roster is filled out really nicely with defensive-minded players though, the additions of Melton and Tucker are huge.

Melton is better on defense but Maxey is way better on offense. I think Melton's ceiling is a very good role player but Maxey's ceiling is a 25 ppg scorer. That being said, a lineup of Harden, Maxey, Melton, Tobias, Embiid makes a lot of sense against smaller teams.

@@bruskydu - I think PJ will generally start but the Sixers will limit his minutes. We'll probably see Melton and Tucker both play 23-26 minutes a game in the regular season. So, I could see Melton playing with the other Starters a decent amount depending on the matchup.
