We as true believers can't join ourselves with the world.. it's like being unequally yoked with sinners of this world... cause the Bible says that whomever is a friend of the world is an enemy of God... So if a Christian claims to be with God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ then they must but be friends with the world.. same goes for the music cause all secular music is not from God...

lol nah man you got it backwards. Christians be the main ones trying to point out “hey I’m different, don’t associate me with the world” type stuff. The genre is there bc of what we have made it to be. And in a sense as Bizzle mentioned, some of us (many as a matter of fact) take great pride in it, unfortunately actually. To take pride in the fact that you are a Christian is to act is if you had something to do with your own saving when in fact it is by grace that we (Christians) have been saved. Boasting in the Lord is one thing but boasting in the fact that we have a label is another.

I really enjoy listening to Tyrese talking but he honestly doesn’t have to have a talking point for everything that Bizzle sayys. It’s perfectly fine to respond with “yeah that’s a good point” or “ I didn’t look at things that way”. When you respond with another view point, you don’t do service to the other persons thoughts and overlook them.
