Wasn't it obvious from the face time calls they give each other lol. Fury is a little bipolar though, one minute he'll make lies up about his opponents (for promotion) the next he'll say he likes them
@@Sam-ng3of When AJ lost you will know he likes him, he did an interview and was talking AJ up, but after that business kicks in again. Wilder was ranting and shouting he is not a true champion..
Weather you think aj or fury is gonna win, anyone from the uk has to realise how amazing this is the two top heavy weights from the uk, gotta love them both
Really happy that Fury gets the respect and recognition he deserves now. He deserved all this after beating Wlad. I'd be willing to bet that half of his mental breakdown was the terrible reception and lack of credit he got for climbing the mountain and becoming champ. Happy for him. He's a great champion.
The heavyweight division had lost its spark when Fury won. After the AJ Klitschko fight this changed a lot. The AJ era has really helped the heavyweight division get back some much needed attention and excitement.
Yep he deserves the respect. You could tell most hadn’t followed his career because they presumed he’d never beat Klitchko or Wilder and he schooled both of them. I think he’ll beat AJ but it will be a great fight either way.
He had the respect and then lost it very quickly when he spouted homophobic and sexist comments. Comments like 'a woman best place is in the kitchen and on her back'.
What a man. Couldn't stand him years ago, didn't think he'd ever amount to any where near what he has. Just thought he was a gobby cocky boxer who'd get beat and never see him again when he was younger. Fair play to him, such an inspirational man and one of my favourite sportsman now, Top draw.
I think a lot of people including me formed a similar opinion. But I couldn’t of been more wrong about Mr Fury . Out of the ring this man has so much going for him , he has the gift of the gab , and is more complex in a very good way . As for his skills in the ring , they are almost unbelievable, a man of his stature should not be able to move like this , it’s like watching a middle weight . He is an inspiration to millions of people .
@@limes..100 Idk. Siddarth's got a mean right, actually dynamite in both hands. He also comes across as more polished and technical of a boxer and has faced competition of higher calibre than Bum Boy has. Latter has definetely shown a weak defense. I got the Indian Ill Intent in Round 2 via TKO.
if he goes down the exhibition route he'll go into the UFC and beat up on nganou. would prefer him to go to the BKFC and fight wilder there..that would be insane.
@@jol284 Usyk is a mandatory. He has no choice unless Usyk steps aside or he vacates the WBO belt. Also, Usyk is a top 10 pound for pound fighter, not just in the heavyweight division but overall. He's ranked even higher than Fury. If Joshua fights him, it would be an equally difficult match.
I really love Tyson when he’s more humble and gives fighters their props. I just find him 1000x more likeable than some other interviews. Fair play to him, this was a great interview and he represented himself very well 👍
@@karinatranmer8209 I know exactly what’s he’s like, that’s why I’m saying it’s nice to see him act like that for a change? Did you even read my comment 😂?
I'm so pleased to see Tyson Fury as he is today. Years ago, he was an angry young man with a massive chip on his shoulder, but today because he is happy in his own skin, we get to see what a great guy he is. He's a fantastic role model for boxing, for Travellers, for the UK and for humanity. God bless Tyson Fury!
0:15 They actually cut for a tv ad break here but its amazing how ITV are able to make it look like they didn't and its such a smooth transition. This is how the media usually get away with presenting certain narratives in the way they want to.
This audience is amazing. No forced laughter every 3 seconds. This allows the conversation to flow naturally. Feels like the Dick Cavett show in the 70s where people could actually express their words without the crowd interrupting every time someone takes a breath.
@@BigBoss7777777 Calm down, Skippy. Wilder was offered the fight on various occasions but turned them down. Also, if AJ has mandatory fights and Fury has fights agreed they just can't do what they want.
@@BigBoss7777777 lol AJ doesn’t need to fight wilder he won’t gain anything from it, AJ would destroy Wilder and AJ Fury will happen in 2021. They both want it
He meant 'know' him...as in _really_ know the person, what makes them tick etc.... Just being acquainted with someone doesn't necessarily mean that you 'know' them.
@@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre1504 no, they know each other very well and sparred several times. AJ lived with him for a few weeks. Fury is not telling the truth.
One day we’ll realise how much Aj and Fury have done for the UK boxing scene, both brits who hold all the belts, both considered the best in the world and both respectable fighters who entertain us
I’m here 9 months on, after Fury v Wilder III and Usyk v Joshua, to say that Fury battering Joshua round the boxing ring like a rag doll is a foregone conclusion. I like Joshua a lot, but this fight would be so one-sided it may end up being boring. Should have done it a year or so ago, when Joshua still seemingly had a chance.
@@plushstyles8599 Hopefully we get it next. May the best man win. Either way.. we get to see the best of this era fight in their primes. HW div is lit 🔥
The guy is simply 1 ov kind, love him and more respect for giving respect to his opponent in AJ , hope he ,well no he will come out victorious if they ever get in the ring together, scouse love,.🥊👊🏆
Besides him having issues with the BBC, the Graham Norton show hosted AJ multiple times so he's like the boxing favourite there and always hyped up as the favourite and best, be awkward to suddenly invite Fury and act like he's the best
Most likely because Fury has been openly homophobic and misogynistic in the past. Why would Graham Norton invite someone on his show who has expressed homophobic views, why should he lower himself to that?
This is how you sell a fight. He clearly respects AJ and builds him up as a big deal. If he just called him crap, lucky etc. then come the time of the fight what have you got on the line? If you win, so what you beat a bum, if you lose, you *lost* to the bum!
Fascinating trying to figure out how the fight will play out. AJ's tactics against Ruiz II were fairly predictable (keep it long and pick him off with caution), even Fury vs Wilder II (keep him on the back foot, find the safe range and keep the pressure on). But Fury vs AJ? It seems like both of them will need to bring something new to the table. Both skilled technicians, no huge size difference, Fury maybe with better footowrk, movement and ringcraft, AJ with more explosive power, Fury with better stamina... intriguing contest.
That's what they've said about every opponent that Joshua has faced, if he believed the hype he would have quit at Klitschko. Joshua is not paper champ like Wilder, he has fought the top heavyweights in the division with only Fury and Wilder missing from his resume. Fury may have the edge however I wouldn't right him off that easily.
@@leedza Nobody should write off Joshua, look what he’s done against Klitschko, Breazeale, Povetkin, Ruiz (II), Whyte, Parker; his resume speaks for itself. Fury’s resume is more limited but crucially it includes Wilder (twice.) as well as Klitschko; Its swings & roundabouts, that’s what makes it a great fight.
@@justinneill5003 Fury has been clever enough to make people forget he has a boring resume and has never defended his titles, now all of a sudden he is top contender. On paper Fury has the most experience, possibly higher boxer IQ and better style. However, Joshua has adapted to every boxer he has stepped into with this far. Either way it's a good fight.
I am a fan of both fury and AJ and I like this side of fury where he is respectful. Both fury and AJ have achieved great things in boxing and as British fans we should just be happy we will get the biggest fight in WORLD boxing
Hahahahaha take a break pal. Lied about it or not (why he obviously hasn’t) he’s gonna have effected so many people in a good way and has achieved things we’ll only ever dream of. I hope he continues to help people and help himself......but you do you though. Xxx
@John Wick 3 he ain’t a drug cheating bum. Cause all top athletes take performance enhancing drugs. Trust me. I know a lot about that. So you don’t know what your talking about. When your training intense all the time. And especially coming up to a fight. You need performance enhancers and steroids to help your muscle soreness and to speed up muscle recovery. Believe me when I say this. All top level athletes take performance enhancing drugs. There’s just ways around the system to pass drug tests. Look at Joshuas body. Your telling me he’s never taken anything ever 🤔. So fury is not a cheater. Because everyone is juicing. And if you don’t believe me. You are very naive about sports. And are not realistic. Your body needs these things to train intense and get fast muscle recovery
Every year that passes, and I listen to Tyson Fury, has made me respect him, and like him as a person more & more. He is the people's champion, and he is the best of this era by far.
People are all persuaded by what happened most recently. First Wilder knocked Fury on his back for 9 seconds and the ref miraculously didn't call the fight, but everyone figured Wilder would knock Fury out during the next fight. Then, Fury dominated Wilder until the ref called that fight. Then, everyone figured Fury was a beast. Also, AJ lost against Ruiz so everyone said AJ had a glass jaw. Then AJ dominated Ruiz and everyone said Ruiz was a bum. Now, since Fury won most recently, he's the man (even though Wilder nearly beat him). It's all recency bias.
Aj reacted like that post fight coz he was trying to control the situation and not promoting fury of the fight doesn’t happen that’s y fury Is on good morning and this show. Doing his promotion
@@laturebogdan6028 let me ask you did this: when he fought wladimir klitschko did he went out everywhere calling for the fight? nope, and still they got the fight made, this is how AJ handles business
Fury is such a joke. AJ offered Fury the fight last year and he ducked it. AJ also asked Fury when are we fighting when Fury facetimed AJ, and Fury avoided the question.
Heads up though for those not in the know...AJ will likely have to vacate (give up) one of his belts (the WBO one) for the Fury fight since he is supposed to defend it against someone else (Oleksandr Usky). Fury might also have to vacate his belt (the WBC one) since he might be contractually tied to defending it against another bloke (Deontay Wilder). So it won't be for all the belts unfortunately. Sucks for sure but welcome to boxing politics and multiple governing bodies.
Tbh if I was team Joshua, I'd be happy to give up the WBO, it won't affect the gate or purse for the Fury fought at all. And then if he wins, he's got the rematch which is huge. And then anothe massive fight against Usyk (or Joyce, lol) for the undisputed. Makes one extra big fight potentially. The Fury fight is big enough without it being for the undisputed.
Ooft!!! Thanks for the update on Usky folks. If he accepts step aside money then let's get it on!!! Let's get it on like Donkey Kong!!! Never thought I would write that but I am THAT ecxited about this fight being for all the belts. Never happened before so......YES.....very excited!!!
I just feel like AJ is tired of hearing about this fight, like we know its gonna happen, why go round and round over the same questions that have been asked over the past 2 years
Fury is the realist boxer there is, he has incredible heart in the ring and an even bigger heart outside the ring. Massive respect for the help and encouragement he’s given to those suffering with mental health.
It's not the most popular thing to say because everyone wants to see this fight, as do l, but I suspect you're right. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen.
Don’t know who would come out on top but both present themselves well and there’s definitely mutual respect between AJ and Fury. Gotta say though - he couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate profession with a name like Tyson Fury! So badass...
AJ wants to be the undisputed champion he’s got 3 belt and only one belt missing the WBC he wants to collect all belts that’s why they call him the landlord
@@peterbigo9951 Because Wilder is taking Fury to court for a 3rd fight that's why.. Do you honestly think AJ is scared of Fury?.. Last I heard AJ was offering fury contracts he was turning down (go reference that)
0:28 AJ did actually answer the question. He essentially said that if Fury is the one with the WBC belt then let it be Fury. He doesn't give a shit who Fury is he just wants that last belt.....whoever has it. If it's Fury who has is then fair enough.
@@jol284 Problem is AJ has always said he would beat fury! Fury is actually the one fighter AJ has said he would KO in a certain 5th round lol so he's very confident.

@@babyting395 Ok so that means Wilder should be done in your eyes? AJ excuses?? He wanted the rematch in baking hot Saudi Arabia to fight an over weight man that went all the rounds. Be honest bro AJ v Wilder would be an awesome build up and fight. Should be a Vegas fight.
The reason ALL fighters speak publicly this way is one, to sell interest & tickets for the fight. & two, because in a fight between 2 people of similar physical stature & skill, the one who can plant seeds of doubt, insecurity, nerves & anxiety in his opponent, will win. Fighting has more to do with psychology than most people realise. Deontay Wilder was psychologically broken by Tyson in the 12th round of the first fight, AFTER Tyson was knocked down. When he got back up & hunted down Wilder, beating him around the ring, Wilder's belief in his own punching mythology was broken. In the second fight, Wilder realized in the first round, that not only did Tyson not fear Deontay's power, he had absolutely no respect for it either, & walked straight through him. In other words, Wilder was beaten psychologically from the last round of the first fight. His knockout punch was still there, but his confidence in it to guarantee a win had gone. This is why fighters trash talk.
@@ZzzZzz968 he was getting beaten up well before the cut against a cherry picked 70th ranked bum. AJ overcame way more adversity against Klitschko than a cut
