27 minutes and 31 secs well spent. No annoying background music, no mumbo jumbo bs. Just these guys showcasing their skills and talent. This video is brilliant. 👍👍👍
paul vincent nicha It's the no stupid music in the background that makes them the best bike building videos 😜🔧😜🔧👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😋
You just got to admire these guys doing what they do with the tools they have brilliant work brilliant patience cleaning the parts and brilliant lads , Thanks for sharing and regards from Dublin Ireland ..
Your work is very impressive. I don’t know if this is your shop or family helping with the refurbishment. Your ingenuity is amazing. Keep up the good work!
I have just dug mine out from the back of the garage, purchased 10 years ago and stored since. Just started the restoration after finishing my dtr125. Cant wait to complete. 😀
Your restorations are simply the best I've ever seen. What may look like a 28 minutes video must have take you guys a couple of days. Lots of work and assembly to bring that motorbike to look new again. Seems like it was smoking too much from the exhaust. Cheers on a good restoration.
Great work guys. I was watching your videos a lot then recently got to know that you are Sri Lankans. Proud of you bros. Keep the good work going. Wish you all the best!!! 🎉
good night, to these great mechanic, tonnons, electrician, painter, congratulations to you guys, I'm a fan of this most beautiful work, it's a show guys Brasil
I really enjoy watching motorcycle rebuild videos on RU-vid. You gentlemen and several other people from your country that have similar channels are by far and above the best at rebuild/restoration projects. Well done and keep them coming.
The piston of the engine has been fixed in to the wrong direction. Though I corrected it, I couldn't remember to correct it when editing. Pleese appologise for the inconvenience you faced. 🙏
I've said this before but I don't think we need anything new in the world anymore with guys like them about. Just imagine what they could do with a fully fitted workshop, paint booth, and some quality tools. wished they could work for me!.. Respect to you all
Its a 2 stroke. It is supposed to smoke. 2 stroke engines burn oil. The main bearings, connecting rod, piston, and cylinder are lubricated by the gas/oil mix used to run the bike. The tiny amount of oil he added is for the clutch and transmission. You don't see these types of engines on motorcycles much anymore due to emission standards. They are very rare especially in developed countries. For their size 2 strokes made much more power than an equally sized 4 stroke engine back in the day. They also have less moving parts and were pretty simple to make. Cant say you didn't learn something today. With that being said im pretty sure the piston was installed backwards and he didn't soak the clutch plates in oil.
good work. if you sell this model into malaysia to many bikers people want to buy it. because its a old model and its to expensive in malaysia. good video👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Came looking for this comment get a 2 stroke silencer and you're all good... that 4 stroke silencer is painful to see on a 2 stroke other than that good job i love these bikes
I would suggest soaking clutch plates before hand good coat etc or i like to let mine sit for alil bit helps to avoid premature wear first start first few etc not moaning just a helpful tip imo love the work bless you ✌️ from England 💪
Clutch Plates Had to be Put in an oil bath before mounting and the Piston went in upside down. The Arrow has to Point Into the exhaust Port direction......Big fail. Greets from germany
The good sound of no added music, the birds , the soil and a good mechanic doing what it loves , i love it too , machines are made to us to love.... i do wanna be a Borg !
Super impressed with this chaps. I am extremely fussy when buying vehicles about faults in bodywork etc and i would hand my hard earned money over for this piece of history. Very well done. You put a lot of European commercial restorers to shame!
Great Job on the restoration guys. I Love it. Please post more videos. Your passion on bikes shines bright. Keep safe and keep up with the amazing work.
The varnish is as beautiful as the skin of an orange. The engine requires only 4 liters of gasoline and 3.5 liters of oil. This is really a successful restoration, better than factory condition.
