When I saw that she would be the next TWICE member to have a solo, I have to admit that I did not know what to expect. Obviously, I knew she can sing, dance etc. But being a soloist is different from operating in a group, in my opinion, and so I was really excited to see her full potential on a track that is solely hers and wow! I am so impressed, this is so so so good! Her voice fits the track so well, and it fits her range beautifully! The breathiness at the beginning during of the intro is good and hooks you in immediately! And don't even get me started on how catchy the chorus is! The tune of this felt really reminiscent of the nostalgic disco era from the 70's/80's maybe? And that specific nostalgic disco vibe reminded me of 'MAGO' which I haven't listened to in so long and got to rediscover thanks to this release! Both are so good! I wished the MV had a bit more sparkle to fit the disco vibes but other than that, I really loved this solo debut and I can absolutely see myself replaying this many many times!

As a Taiwanese, we are so emotional for her solo, it is so hard as a foreigner especially as a Taiwanese to survive as artist in Korea and Japan . She had to apologize for waving Taiwanese flag and say that she is a Chinese, and there wasn’t any concert holding in her home country that millions of fans had support her and twice after the flag incident. Tzuyu’s solo is truly a blessing and we are so proud of her!

That's the point of the concept, she's challenging you or maybe giving you a chance to runaway because once you hit the play button, you'll never get enough of her plus the fact that you're in a dream that you'd rather choose to stay asleep forever because of her.

Agreed. It’s able to build without being interrupted by constant starts & stops (or shifts of style) that are so popular in modern k-pop. It’s confident and knows what it wants to be, so it doesn’t care about playing games with the listener. I only wish it exploded in a bigger crescendo and/or looped out the chorus another one or two times, as old pop songs used to do.

Its giving ABBA for me lol. I dont know why maybe its just the Swedish in me. I wasnt sure about Tzuyu going solo since i couldnt imagine what the album wouldve sound like. i didnt quite expect the image change they are clearly trying for her. From cute, makne tzuyu to being her own woman, even a lil sexy in there. unexpected, but i kinda dig it! the retro pop and all is really neat! i was kinda expecting the usual cutesie dreamy kpop song and i way prefer this for her. .... BUT the most unexpected thing of all was seeing her in a group of dancers that are all her hight! :D

Thank you , now im not alone in this, yes the song is really sounding awfully familiar, it did remind of that 80s and early 90s love songs with an upbeat sound to it, the 808 and drum backtracking really sounds like something we all have heard before, i will just have to listen to mago again just to make sure, since your the only one brought that one song up though.

This is definitely the JYP's genre and identity running in this song. Very Sunmi, very Miss A and kinda reminds me of Suzy (?) if you understand what i mean.
