The theory is that the guy cheated on her and she wants him to run. Because if he comes back, she'll "show a different side" and there's "no turning back". He does come back then she suffocates him via smothering him with a pillow (feathers). In the end she celebrates but she's alone and you can't see her face. (She's different now)

First glad to see I didn't need to remind you (which I was about to do lol). Lets keep the comparisons closer to home think Twice's Yes or Yes scary choices in both songs. My only issue with the string of fate theory is that she cuts it which leaves the bloody finger as a mystery cause at first it seemed to get PULLED off so need more clarification if i'm buying into that theory. The color schemes do play into the emotions of the song which I liked, although the style of the dress in the field of flowers didn't work for me. The scene with her being back lite and only showing her silhouette truly highlights that she isn't just facially beautiful but physical so. Now as to the song I love it and it's good but as usually for a Twice album the Bsides are better if you don't do the album my top two are Fly and Loosing sleep. OT9 forever (TIMELESS).

Thank you for remembering to remind us, if need be. We were SO excited to check it out as soon as we could, but it's always reassuring to know that we can rely on viewers to keep us in the loop with new releases! We love the red string of fate as a common Korean trope - we talk about this a lot in our K-drama reviews - but we'll definitely have to watch it again to see what you are saying. This was our first time watching the MV, and like any good TWICE video, there's always so much that you miss on the first go-round and catch upon multiple watches! The colors in this MV were particularly striking given the macabre theme. We also reacted to her choreography video (to be posted next week), and are excited to see what else she releases off this album. Because as you said, TWICE is definitely known for their amazing B-sides.

@@hallyureviewsus Well totally new theory based on a different Korean fork lore. It has to do with a young girls first love, she makes a dye out of flower peddles puts it on her finger nails wraps it in a cloth then the next morning her nails turn red and if they stay red for a certain amount of time her love will come true. In the Twice reaction to this M/V Nayeon said the same as you she asked if she killed him and she explains that no he is asleep and she is trying to keep him dreaming because if he wakes up the love will be gone because he isn't in love with her yet, see first half of paragraph. This explains most of what's going on in the M/V but I still have questions but I'm very glad our evil maknae isn't THAT evil lol. look forward to your next reaction. OT9 forever (TIMELESS).

@@Theoldonce - Thank you for sharing that information with us. It definitely switches the whole feeling of the MV. It seems to fit well with the song itself, but like you, we do still have a few questions in regards to the MV. But of course, MVs can often take on a life of their own, so it wouldn't be the first time if the two are totally in sync. Both are fabulous, however you take them, and we are eagerly anticipating more!
