If Tzuyu is 1,70 cm that means she's 5,7. No wonder she looks really tall next to Jihyo since she's 1,60cm. If I stood next to Tzuyu I would almost be the same height as her. You can see Jihyo really gravitated /cherishes Tzuyu these days by how she speaks to her.
Tzuyu was 170 cms at the start of her career but she was only 16 back then. Now that she's in her twenties and she has grown to be 172 cms. Either way she is pretty tall especially in TWICE lmao

Same (I'm 5'10"). Alot of the men I had crushes on were shorter than me( the shortest was around 5'5" or 5'6"). My ex was shorter than me. Not by much (only an inch) but he would randomly point it out. He seemed to care more than I did.

Men tend to prefer short girls, so Jihyo should be happy she's "short" (she is average height for an Asian woman). Also, it doesn't matter whatsoever if a man is shorter than a woman. To care so much about that is "heightist".
As a man, I can tell you that height doesn't really matter all that much for me. I don't mind if girls are taller than me, although it is quite rare as I am 180cm tall and most girls (even in my country, Norway) is shorter than me. I also don't mind if girls are a lot shorter than me, or the exact same height. Either way is fine. What truly matters is what kind of person they are and whether or not we have good chemistry, not anything superficial like their height.
I am 175cm tall, I prefer girls height between 168cm to 175cm. Below 165cm look like dwarf to me. I am more to elf type girls. By the way tzuyu look like an elf.
That’s what happens to Wonyoung too , now she embraces her height and her legs but back in IZ*ONE she showed some insecurity about it , her height makes her unique but i will be brutally honest when she was MCing with Sunghoon I didn’t see that of a difference in height even though Sunghoon is considered a tall male idol, being taller than 170cm for a girl is a real struggle especially in Korea or Asian districts because Males aren’t that tall … ~ that’s my opinion and i do Understand if someone thinks otherwise.
If you like the guy, that shouldn't have stopped you. Believe me, I dated both tall and short men. When you're with someone special, when there's only the two of you and when you're connecting you forget things like height and age and status. It only matters when what people say matter to you.
Me and tzuyu are same age actually born in same month she early June me late June when I was 16 I was 172 cm tall now im 175 tall people do compliment me on height but sometimes I fell shy on being this tall
Don't be shy! It's an amazing thing. Asian people are rare in my town, but the few Asian girls that I met in real life are super short. They're like 5 feet - 5'3 (152cms - 160 cms) at most. Being 175cms is a great advantage for you!

Honestly, I love tall men, but I was more obsessed with taller men when I was younger. I think as you get older, you might meet a guy that's literally a 10/10 and just as tall as you? It would feel strange but I think meeting a good person comes before meeting a tall one. But I'm already shorter than Tzuyu, so a man shorter than me is basically a child. I think tall women can date shorter men...it's difficult for shorter women. Short guys can be cutie patooties.
Why is this a real thing, when I get measured in other places vs when I'm measured in the hospital I'm always 1-2 inches taller. Do hospitals have some sort of filler?

The downsides of really being tall are hitting your head on stuff, not being able to sit comfortably on most public transport, not being able to sleep comfortably in hotel beds...

Yeji was supposed to be 1.70 too but she's actually 1.67 and with poor Lia they were even more shameless because she's 1.62 but they stated her height is 1.68. This makes me think Stray Kids are also way shorter than their "official" heights lol
