Помню, ждал от них, (на тот момент от него))) очередной альбом, так как это был один из моих любимых проектов в стиле техно. И вот однажды увидел кассету, в ларьке, сторона A: U96 B: Mark"oh. Сказать, что на меня Club Bizarre произвёл впечатление, это ничего не сказать. Я люблю музыку, и этот трек он был явно не из той эпохи, это была музыка будущего... Я до сих пор слушаю и кайфую от этого трека и от албома в целом, это мой любимый альбом U96. Мужики U96 вы нереальные🤝👍 Май 2024.

@@aaronzweidinger8538 Seriously? :D 90 wasn't a big autotune era... it was a big playback era, but not auto-tune. Voices like in this song are either samples or dedicated voice recordings with some effects, but not with autotune. It is also not very "in tune" in this song, but that is the key also. Makes things so much more catchy.
Как увидел негра в красных шортах на доске на первом плане вспомнил этот клип с детства. Запомнил что человек на доске парит воздухе и всё, что за клип, кто исполнитель хрен его знает. И вот спустя 28 лет я снова увидел этот клип. Да еще музыка шикарная просто взял на заметку. Мёд для ушей прям, хотя сколько лет то уже прошло. Качество проверена временем!

What a great memory... Strangely beautiful and sweetly melancholic track, accompanied by a similarly strange but terrificly imaginative and beautiful video. LOVE!
Fun fact: The fast vocal sounds like the lyrics are "life is cool without sound" and that's even what the model is lipsyncing in the music video, however, if you slow the vocals down to the original pitch, you'll find the lyrics are actually "life is poor without sound", which makes a lot more sense! WONDERFUL TUNE. One of my favourites.
@@jckjmz nope it's not. Look up the version in original pitch. Also the lyrics are a play on Carlton's "Do You Dream" where the vocal melody is derived from.
That model is the singer Skadi Lange though. Also the word "poor" isn't in "Do you Dream." I also think it's important to point out "Life is cruel without sound" sounds cooler than "life is poor without sound." Having looked up the slowed down version, I can't make out the lyrics any more clearly.
@@SpencerLemay that's because none of the lyrics from "Club Bizarre" are in "Do You Dream". It's not a direct sample. They just copied the vocal melody and wrote new lyrics to it.

U 96 remains my fav 90ies dance music group , 2 wonderful albums. Among my 5 top tracks. That were the good old days in my country too. Love from France
@@laurence.MusicAndSights I remember at least 3 albums: Replugged '1993, Club Bizzarre '1995 and Heaven '1996. And some singles and albums was later in 1997-1999 and one album earlier, 1992 (with Das Boot track, I don't remember the title of album)
The imaginative world of the video brings me images of Salvador Dalís paintings such as The temptation of saint anthony, Elephants, and Dream caused by the flight of a bee around a pomegranate and many other surrealist paintings. Has someone else noticed the resemblence I wonder👀 Anyway this is one of my favourite 90's songs and very beautiful too.
Yesterday, while we re still in Venice, for some strange reason this tune started reverberating in my head all of a sudden like crazy. Took me 10 minutes to remember the title and the lyrics. Awesome track, AWESOME

Just came across this song from listening to hung up by madonna then spotify auto played songs that are similar. Came across this song and I'm in love. I'm currently 17, crazy how the further back in time you go to music gets better and better

"Where the crazy people meet on the street with no name" U96 was one of those producers that provided us good tracks when music discovery wasnt a fast process. Radio, cassette tapes, cd:s and then analogue modems. Sure some recordlabels bought up their own artists records to top the billboards but U 96s tracks always felt like they got there by doing good music. Maybe this is why the projects seemed "underrated" in comparison to similar artists of that era? Or maybe people back then are just as now, following the rest of the herd.

takes me back! this tune was stuck in my head for 30 years and i only recently managed to find it through humming into one of those tune finding apps and here it is, unbelievable. definitely one of the most catchy and underrated tunes of its era, also one of the strangest video clips too...
Canción de mi infancia cuando veía de niño los tops del canal musical VIVA y el top20 de Europa en la MTV y por alguna razón de la inocencia infantil, me encantaba Club Bizarre, y desde que la he vuelto a descubrir recientemente, la tengo en bucle. 😍😍😍 por cierto, el hombre que sale al final del videoclip, Alex de U96, estuvo en Eurovisión 2009 por Alemania, como pianista y presentando a Dita von Teese
