oh my, studied here in the early 2000s..a lot has changed, ang aliwalas na ng U-belt..Ive visited most of these and are all beautiful, but.my top 5 U-belt campuses aesthetic wise, UST, FEU, San Beda, CHS (too bad it closed), & Baste..Thank you for sharing, wonderful video.
sad to hear, I spent 8 years there, high school to College..never had an incident..well I was morning shift, 2PM uwian na, so maybe why.. we went to your church for our boards. so Baste is close to my heart..small campus but most beautiful buildings.
@@angel91485 3 times yata ako na hold up sa Recto at Quiapo. Yung biglang mang aakbay then tututukan ka ng kutsilyo (mostly sunday yan, papasok ng NSTP). Parang adventure ang college life jan. May time na habang nasa jeep kami, biglang nagkaroon ng riot, ung mga fake seller ng DVD vs ung mga police. Naipit kami sa gitna ng riot, pinababa na lang nung driver ung trapal ng jeep sabay pina yuko kaming mga pasahero. Unforgettable moments. 😅

Didn’t Recto Avenue used to have plenty of shops that sells army uniforms, belts, boots, insignias for ROTC? I remember waking past that are multiple times when I was young . This was during the 80’s.

I filmed this video on the first Friday of August, around 4PM to 5PM, hoping to capture scenes from the first week of school opening (High School and primary starts that time). However, to my disappointment, most Philippine colleges don't begin their classes until the last week of the month.
I did notice a clock in one shop window at 4.45.. and wondered. Here in the UK, 'high school' begins first week of September (with colleges and universities starting mostly the third week of that month). I appreciate your reply, thank you.
you should have seen it in the early 2000s, it was worse.. actually half of the building have been renovated or replaced, its even much cleaner now in my eyes..🤣. some of those are due to the owners not wanting to sell their condemned, old buildings, government should force them to renovate as safety ordinances.
There's no way you just generalized and mocked an ENTIRE country based on one district alone LMFAO. My city in the province is a thousand times better than this.
