seems like that short flash before going solid when stepping on the brakes is a rapid fire feature built in. You see that on a lot of big trucks with leds. It's like an additional attention grabber or safety feature towards the person behind you. It's suppose to help prevent rear end accidents seeing how folks don't pay attention when they drive.
I haven't seen but one truck here in Texas with LED bar actually "inside" the tail gate almost flush. You should do it, would be interesting to see a "How to" video I don't have the guts to cut into my 2013 F150 tail gate!!!

Lol now this is pretty pointless in my opinion... I had a LED Strip light for my F250, that actually had turn signals, reverse lights, and everything on it... Nothing fancy and ridiculous like this ha
I love comments like these! if you had bothered to watch the video you would have heard me say that I just taped it to the back of a truck with masking tape to demonstrate it for the video! Thanks for watching though and thanks for sharing your "smart person" wisdom, I'm sure that will help to clear up any confusion with the mounting location for all of the dummies who don't listen to what I said and that can't see the masking tape holding the light strip on!
