They only sided with the Axis because they didn’t get any help which Britain and France promised they would. That’s why the Allies wanted to get control of Norway and Sweden to get to Finland.

Well to be fair. They first fended off USSR alone off with no help from Allies since the war hadn't yet in practice started. Then they used Nazi support to take back the land they lost. Then when Germany started losing, the USSR tried to invade again and they were stalemated again. Stalin offered peace and independence for Finland for one condition: If they banished all Nazi forces and sympathizers from Finland. While Nazis were retreating from Finnish Forces they left burning villages after them... They had spend the whole war fighting enemies way bigger than them and being of the brink of losing their independence for 6 years. It gets tiring...

@Daroya Here is the way I think world war 2 would've played out had America not been involved. *_BARE IN MIND_* !! This is all an educated guess over the possibilities and theory's of what COULD HAVE BEEN. Some of these predictions and theory's are definitely absurd in a few cases, so take each and every bit of info here with a massive grain of salt. Without American involvement in the war the theatre and warfare in Africa would be severely hindered for the Allies in which the French resistance and the British holding out without the US helping em out cause some serious losses, thus securing Axis dominance over Africa. This puts a massive strain on the allies as they no longer control a southern frontier against the axis and would either A, remain on the defense hoping to find a counter or B, attempt a naval invasion of Europe which as stated, without the support of the US, would be significantly much more difficult to pull off. Not to mention with the ease of Allied tensions in Africa, Hitler would be able to reassign troops to focus more on the Eastern front against the Soviet Union. With Germany having such tremendous success, who knows? Maybe even Spain would've finally joined in on the fun and officially join the Axis. We all saw how close Germany got to Moscow even WITH full allied involvement, getting rid of one major player such as the US like that would've surely tipped the balance in the Axis favor and quite possible allow them to seize Moscow and more along the way in this theory. Now to cover my theory on Japan here. Now lets say Japan doesn't attack Pearl harbor, because America does not impose the embargo on them. This allows Japan to continue its conquest across Asia and the Pacific, so much so that the war hits all the way to Australia. Now since Japan and America aren't at war, Japan does not invade the Philippians (they were a colony under control by the USA). Although Japan misses out on potential land grabbing here, they still have success over against the Dutch as they push through French Indochina. Speaking of China....well i'm not too educated on the matter of Japan's war against China, all I know is things were real bad for China, but I guess I could say maybe Japan would've been able to push even deeper into China without having to worry about US fleets intervening and destroying their convoys supplying the invasion...? Idk, like I said i'm not fully aware of the war here. Now I don't think Japan would've invaded the Soviet Union, unless the Soviets were pushed REAAALY far back into Siberia, giving to their failed attempt when they invaded Mongolia...or at least tried to. Now with Italy... Italy would've just gained control of Africa with the help of Germany thanks to the ease of Allied opposition without US assistance....I mean yeah there's not much to go on here. I did originally think that maybe there would be some possible thing going on with the Italians and their invasion against Greece, but I forgot that happened with German support and would've likely ended in Italian humiliation in my possible scenario just as it did in the actual war. Yeah not much going for the Italians here.

I don't see Haiti present at 2:07. I think the countryball that you're referring to as "Haiti" (the one in between El Salvador and Guatemala) is actually the Dominican Republic.
But... Soviet troops were also frozen. It wasn't like the Russians were "used to it", it went down to -40C in a freak weather incident that killed Germans and Russians alike. This impacted the Germans, who were in Russia, more severely than the Russians, who were also in Russia.
