Interesting. I lived the same barracks back in 2010 and they didn't have those doors or walls up between the rooms. We used furniture to create a fake wall and there really wasn't any privacy unless one setup a curtain. This was for 2nd BCT.

Geez crist you guys have it so good now. When I was stationed there back in 1987-1991 , you had a15x15 room 2 beds 2 walllockers a desk and a chair.

Sheesh, going to Campbell next 108 ADA after 2 years in Korea, this'll be a big change, rooms in Korea were bangin, had a stove, 2 sinks, and lots of area in your private room

In the British Army Barracks they have a bathroom of course but then they have a slightly larger bedroom/living area, they get closets and everything they instead share a kitchen but they do have things like coffee machines, microwaves, kettles and stuff cause they gotta make those teas and stuff of course and they can have pot noodles and stuff like that but they don’t have their own kitchen

Bathtubs in the barracks??totally unheard of when I was in during the 80s we had communal showers common latrine that everyone shared and 3 men to a room , this was while I was in Germany . Soldiers now have it made spoiled rotten.
