@@majorpines7392 But those are just normal spins, ik the bayonets make it harder because of the front weight, but this is simple stuff. Our team goes to nationals in about a month, and honestly they pulled it off at state and under with their exe. But they are kids, these are full on adults

Listen.. This shit isn't easy.. Its the most hardcore of displays.. And we as a unit sometimes drop it.. But we plan, we recover.. And we fucking go on.. Such a deeper lesson here

It is Amazing more slip ups don't happen with the gloves. It seems like it would make an already difficult drill so much harder to pull off without stuff slipping😬 Salute to those who have put in so many hours into honing their skills❤
Honestly maintaining bearing is even harder than the performance it’s self. You could feel yourself cringe at the mistake. Imagine how they felt that exact moment they dropped the rifle in front of a crowd, representing their branch and our country. But they don’t at all show any emotion. Job well done.
I was the commander of a special and silent drill team in ROTC and this type of failure only happen at practice but by the time you stand in one place holding this rifle above your head for the rest of practice you quickly learn failure was not an option. We place place 1st...3 years straight and wasn't even a military school. My guys were elite and on point...😎
In my opinion there was no mistake. I am in a MCJROTC and yes, u’ll get docked for messing up but what really counts is the bearing. Bearing is the core make up of drill, and these men did it perfectly. Bravo for them
As an former Mongolian honour guard these kinds of tricks require so much time and patience to learn. We used to eat our sweat for dinner. If failed our blood can be too. Probably same for these guys as well.
As a armed exhibitor. This js hard man really hard. Especially when you drop a rifle not only have you let your self down but the team down as well and that takes a toll on you and you feel it. I am amazed at there composer although they dropped a rifle they kept there bearing. Very impressive and amazing execution
The Coast Gaurd is great and even the best at a lot of things..... apparently Drill team isn't one of those things!? That's alright. We still need them to keep doing what they are great at!!
I am a CAT Cadet. All I know is that if that rifle falls off to the ground, you'll do 7 push-ups. I don't know how the punishments goes for the PMA though
Prior Honor Guard here. Our CO would have us practice til it hurt...then practice some more. They weren't ready and it shows. The guy that made a gesture and a face wouldn't be able to lift his arms the next day for that. You cannot afford to make mistakes with a fixed bayonet. Period.
You see it may look like failure but I’m proud about it mistakes are common the more mistakes the more rare it gets they will Improve by year by year this don’t easy this shit can take years or learn with out a single mistake
i always like to ask if i can do this before judging and the simple answer is fuck no... id fuck up too but that recovery was so smooth and professional
How in a country where most states its illegal to carry a bayonet but when its used for show you can. Like yes lets show children its cool to own illegal things as long as we’re pretending to use them
