The stars and stripes was raised for the first time at the new U.S. Embassy building at noon on January 26, 2024. Ambassador Randy Berry and Deputy Chief of Mission Brandon Hudspeth led the proceedings of the historic ceremony that rings in a new era for the U.S. Mission to Namibia. The move to the state of the art building provides a space for stronger innovative collaboration between the U.S. Government agencies in-country. The U.S. Embassy looks forward to continuing its meaningful partnerships with the Government and citizens of the Republic of Namibia. The U.S. Embassy is now open at 38 Metje Street in Klein Windhoek.
