While interesting as always, the continued pervasive use, by some interviewees, of almost every answer startting with "Yeah, so.." seems to be your enablement of their passive-aggressive, rather sleazy and undignified behavior in the public sphere. "Yeah", in response to what? Would they not provide the answer your show host asks? There is a uselessness to such answers, and learned people usually know better. It's often women interestingly, and I suppose they want some sort of shame or disgust, aside from causing anger (it's almost unlistenable). The woman who appeared with Scott seemed rather dazed, under a spell of some kind and I rather doubt the integrity of some of what she says. It's as if she can't be different from other such people, can't "rock the boat" and be a mature, respectful person providing information. Of course, in my commenting so, I am possibly falling into their trap of a kind. Please ask interviewees to refrain from this behavior; it's old, tiring and disrespectful.
In our area of the NW here near Dayton Oregon most people grow grass seed. The market $ for grass seed has dropped & processors still have grass seed left over from last year! Quoting my neighboring farmer he is very concerned as the grass seed harvest is just about to begin & there really is not much space to store it! Also a few grass seed straw processors have suffered some complete losses due to fires in their facilities. Those operators are not sure if they can continue with just insurance payouts.
