Thank you for sharing this with us who served in the Gulf War ie The Persian gulf war 1990-1991. I served with the 1st Marine Division, G-6 during my time there. MajGen Mike Myatt was our Division Commanding General and BGen Tom Draude was our Assistant Division Commanding General. Both were excellent officers. Prior to the initial assault I was attached to the Direct Support Group 1, under the command of Col Alex Powell. I was the G-6, Assistant Maintenance Officer for the Division as a CWO-2. Thank you for reminding me about our Gulf War. It’s been 32 years since then. Boy time really flies by.
I really enjoy these videos and I enjoyed how you actually showed how the medals are fixed on the display. This will help me make my mothers shadow box and fix my fathers box that was ruined.
I did not serve but I understand. I graduated from U.C.L.A. I became a Bruin because I earned it. I am a Bruin forever. My grandson is a Marine. He earned it. He is a Marine forever. I am so proud of him.
