U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon and Official U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard performing on Aug 1, 2022, on Cooper Field at Cary High School, North Carolina.
Yes it is called National Emblem, but when there is a colorgaurd present it is actually called "Call to the Colors" and is used for ceremonial purposes. Thought I should point that out.
You know, i so agree. My wife and I stopped going to the shows because we just can not handle the use of electronics. My wife is an opera singer, and i was in a drum corps in high school. My daughter played with Blue Devils for three years. The sound is simply not the same. Kindest regards, Mark applied physics
Of course it's a real Drum Corps . . . but so is DCI and DCA . . . it's in constant EVOLUTION . . . I like it all . . I appreciate all the energy that goes into to ALL performances. The Kids these days in DCI have amazing talent . . I hope DCA corps make a comeback too like in decades past. Miss the uniforms though (now costumes mostly). It'll evolve back I'm sure.
@@davidwarner3326 you have no idea what you're talking about there are more than one team in the silent drill platoon and drum and bugle Corps. When you first get to the unit you're put in support roles and also run in a secondary team for training. You don't just get dropped straight into the A-Team. I've spoken to their fucking staff NCO while they were training in Yuma Arizona.
