In this video we take a look at the M 1950 field jacket without liner, that was used during the Korean War by the US military. This jacket would be the second pattern of the M 1950 see my other videos for more information on the M 1943 and the m1951 Field jackets

Thank you for good video ! Several years ago, I could not find difference between M1943 FJ and M1950 FJ . I should have bought extra buttoned one !

I love watching these videos! Anyway, I was spoiled…in 1974 we had zippers! But still buttons for the liner.

Will you do the M-1965 or M-65 Field Jacket? I have one of the rare ones from the end of the eighties and is one of the last OG-107 ones. I have one from 1979 and two of the last ones from 1987 one of which I wore today. I love the M-65 especially mine from 1987 because it has plastic YKK Zippers unlike most of them.

Great video, Where do you find all this stuff? I've been hunting for, a better, M51 field jacket. That's reasonably priced.. most are 200+ USD which makes no sense it was in use for 14 years and hundreds of thousands of them were made.

Yeah I agree the prices are getting kind of out of hand on a lot of stuff, I’ve had most of the stuff for years but Thrift stores, Army surplus stores online etc: Thank you for watching
