I’ve been single for 22 years and I’m 67 years old. It would take a real kind hearted Southern gentleman to win this woman’s heart again. First run at love was rough. But these great songs renew my heart.
Wow! Y’all really know country… seriously touch my heart here in Lynchburg, Virginia ❤️ Keep country alive. Saw Johnny Cash and the Carter family in Sisters, Oregon in 1990. Greatest memory🙏💖💞
Growing up in the Washington, DC, area, I was privileged to attend many of the concerts by the various bands of the Armed Forces. I heard Rock & Roll, Blue Grass, Country, Big Band, as well as Classical Music. I loved every concert I attended. I did audition for the US Navy Band but just wasn't quite good enough. That's okay - I still attended all the concerts I could during my time in the Navy and never regretted not making the grade.
Thank You, but I'm NO "Hero". I just did my job(s) to the very best of my abilities. I enlisted post-Vietnam and the attitude of the country was still pretty much "Dogs & Soldiers Keep Off The Grass". Not everywhere.... but enough to be discouraging. When I eventually earned my Commission, I hope I was a pretty good Officer & I tried my level best to treat my Soldiers with Respect. This, of course, was after my Navy Enlistment had ended and I re-enlisted in the US Army Reserve while I attended College. To me, the True "Heroes" are those resting under grave markers or those who returned from War who were hurt (physically & psychologically). There's a big difference on how our Military & Veterans are treated now, as they were when I enlisted in 1976. Much better! So, I thank the American People for allowing me to Serve and be a small cog in a very big machine!
SO WONDERFUL!!! I LOVE THEM!! I joined The Junior Royal Navy, here in the UK at the age of 13, on The TS Arethusa, formerly The Peking, a four masted sailing ship, opposite to the Chatham Dockyard, and Royal Navy moorings in Kent, as it was with loads of ships and subs as in Portsmouth at that time, where I now live, we were funded by the navy. I became a multi instrumentalist, having been trained by a WONDERFUL Royal Marine SGT. I went up to the senior Royal Navy at the age of 15, and I joined the band, and worked alongside, and trained further, by The Royal Marine Band....SORRY GUY'S....THE BEST IN THE WORLD IN MY OPINION, you lovely USA Bands, A VERY CLOSE 2nd!!! BUT! HAVING SAID THAT, WE DIDN'T DO YOUR THING'S AS WELL THEN.... It was in the 60's, not so polished as you guy's, BUT! we paved the path for you...TO IMPROVE....LOL!!!! SO! JOINT POSITION????? I HOPE SO! When I turned professional, I worked as a multi instrumentalist, cabaret artist, comedian, a radio presenter with OVER FIFTEEN MILLION LISTENERS, I had "SUPERSTARS" doing "Phone In's" I recorded over 8 albums, and 3 double albums. GOD BLESS AMERICA, OUR WONDERFUL FRIENDS.
I enyoy listening to Country Current and, if and when the "logistics" are worked out, come to the UK. My friends there would love to listen to you as well.
I saw these guys and girls last night at the Texas Steel Guitar Association Jamboree. They were the headliners. Met many of them after the show very nice folks. Their talent is limitless. In my opinion this is the absolute best spending of my tax dollars ever. Rock on Country Current.
As a former sailor retiring in 2016 from Naval Special Warfare Development Group these people and the Sea Chanters and the US Navy Band make me proud to have been a Sailor and thank you for giving us your great entertainment.
Fantastic! I served in 73-77 (age17-21) How I wish I had enough confidence in myself back then to have tried out for the entertainment part of the Navy...I would have happily served at least 30 years...Keep up the good work...if you ever come to the Philippines (where I have lived for the last 15 years)...I WOULD for sure figure out someway to come hear ya......I live in Cebu.
Thanks for your service 🙏 to ♥️ 💖 our beautiful country ❤️ 💙 You are a true 👍 ❤️ American hero!" May God bless you 🙏 ❤️ ✨️ and may God 🙏 ✨️ ❤️ 💖 bless America 🇺🇸 🙏 ❤️
Wow! Absolutely wonderful; all seven of you. I thoroughly enjoyed and loved every minute watching you playing your instruments and listening to the songs. The acoustics; sound awesome.
So they can completely regulate the volume of every instrument on the drumset coming off the stage through microphones.....that way they can get a great nuance and blend for every instrument at all volume levels throughout the concert.
Thanks for your service to our beautiful country ❤️ You are a true American hero 🙌 👏 ❤️ 💙 May God bless you 🙏 and may God 🙏 bless America 🇺🇸 The reasoning behind the drum kit being behind the plexiglass partition, is to prevent the sound of the drum kit from leaking into the other microphones
