The service members who commited war crimes on innocent civilians have NEVER been held accountable. The person who REPORTED those war crimes is the ONLY one who is being punished.
Matthew, the USA has more of its people incarcerated and in private prisons at that than any other country in the world. You can never answer questions about the doing of the USA government you represent but there you are downing the Iranian government. The truth about the USA’s animosity towards Iran is well known.
file exempt on your taxes immediatly til USA government listens to its voters demands of defunding Isreal weapons and stopping the extermination of innocent Indigenous Palestinians
I have to disagree with you on that. I have had more than enough of all the Hamas supporting journalists who demand investigations about Israel and are totally silent about all the horrible things that Hamas has done.
One reporter's question insinuated that North and South American *sovereign* nations should not do business with China, presumably because they are in the Western Hemisphere and the "U.S.'s backyard." Neither the U.S.'s neighbors nor the South American countries belong to the United States-what kind of a question was that? It would be like China saying that the U.S. shouldn't do business with south and southeast Asian countries because they are geographically closer to China than the U.S.🤪
Why don't they ask if "the public" is harmed when our governments lie to us. Why not ask if Assange contributed to Democracy and checks and balances. Doesn't the government work FOR US? Who gets harmed when the truth is withheld from American citizens? What about serving Americans, and the truth .. not some shady government shenanigans. Why should the one who served the public best...be the danger? We deserve honesty. That's the press function.
What do reporters *Geeta* and *Janne* have in common? They like goading the State Department press secretary into making bellicose remarks about *_Iran_* and *_North Korea,_* respectively.🙂 They would like to hear that the U.S. is going to war with Iran or North Korea. For example, other than raising the prospect of the U.S. *starting a war* with Iran, what was Geeta driving at when she uttered, _"But _*_the sanctions did not work"?_*
Matt *slammed Russia* for detaining Evan Gershkovich, asserting that *_journalism is not a crime._* Interestingly enough, the Russians have used the same premise as the U.S. government in seeking Julian Assange's extradition to prosecute him. They, too, claimed that Gershkovich committed an *espionage crime* and that his imprisonment was due to that rather than his work as a reporter. The U.S. government and the Kremlin have much more in common than they are willing to admit.🙂
