Having had McDonalds in both US and India, the difference in taste is night and day. Indian McD actually tastes good.. US McD is just bland AF 😂. Also every fast food chains in India have substantial vegetarian options, hell even KFC has Veg options lol. As someone who used to live on Fast foods during my student time in US, I had to get pretty inventive on where to Order from.. Mostly I got Subway sandwiches and Impossible Burgers. But I would just stock Fries from most Burger places. Though I would say, I liked the bigger portion sizes of US McD.. It helped to live on a budget.. Obviously it worsened my health, but damn it, it saved me a lot of dollars 😂
As someone with OCD, I’d say you can deal with the 149gm weight as if it was a sale price. We’re conditioned to seeing prices like 99, 149, 199 on a sale and it feels more acceptable. Personally it’d be harder for me to deal with 146gm or 148gm
So, the Gourmet Lava Cheese Burger is exactly what Achara said.. It has a patty (of meat or veggies) + a melting cheese patty + veggies + sauce + slice of cheese It's truly delicious 🤤🙌🏼 I'm not sure why Nikhil didn't explain it correctly, he's usually quite accurate with his descriptions 🥺
Imagine how Posh you have to be to drink Chai at mcdonalds? The struggle to choose between Double whipped cream Pumkin spiced Chai latte at Starbucksu vs Chai at McDonalds.
I love how McDs and KFC etc have really changed their menu to suit Indian palate. So many cool veg options and that taste great. I love having McDs once in a while
They have a different menu in every county they have a presence in. My advice to travellers is to always check out the local McD. It's very interesting.
Peri Peri was actually there in Mcdonalds India from around 2007-2009 but they discontinued it for some reason. But am glad it came back and is permanent now.
India's got Hash Browns in the breakfast menu too! and we have a separate section called 'McCafe' where you can get smoothies, shakes, coolers, iced coffees, hot and cold coffees and frappucinos, and ofcourse the standard fizzy drinks with your meal like coke, pepsi 7up etc.
I'm from a typical middle class northern family and I've eaten decent amount of street vendor fast foods but "only once" at mcdonalds, and pulling outta thin air, easily 80% of Indian population barely goes to these highly priced restaurants 2-3 times a year, street vendors are extremely cheap even tho they might not match the standard quality, or taste (sometimes), but they have quantity for lower prices, and Indians love to save money for future (I don't get why lol).
Every time the indian chap said it was spicy he meant it's spicy for an international franchise, not that it's spicy by Indian standards . For us it's pretty much just a little tangy or has a hint of sour in it , we don't think " ooooh spicy " when we taste that. We think " ooooh not bland , cool"
I'm 18 now, when I used to go to Mcdonald's frequently in Mumbai in my childhood we got the sauces free and got to refill our sauce plates and got various free cartoon toys such as ben10 toys, spiderman toys etc.,It's really nostalgic now, missing those good old days 😊❤🥹🥹🇮🇳🙏
I was in Kochi, India recently and the McDonalds over there (on MG Road, I think) had McSpicy Fried Chicken on its order. I ordered a 4-piece serving and man, were they REALLY SPICY by both, Temperature, and Spice Palate- the Indian Spicy AND American Spicy. Altogether it was wonderful and so much so, I threw all caution to the winds and ordered another 4-piece serving. This is direct competition to KFC India, I think, which unfortunately, does not have an offering that's THIS spicy.
I love Big Mac Maharaja Burger in India It's taste fire Big fan of it And as for knowledge in India we have 2 different menu West and South India North and East India What we see in video is West and South side of India Mc Donald Menu and best one As Indian I will say whenever I go to Mc Donald I mostly order a combo's In those combo a big burger , a cold drink like coke and French fries or peri peri French fries Yeah that's what I mostly eat from Mc Donald
Achara it is kinda insane (kinda disappointing) that y'all didn't try McD while you were in India, you could've been telling Andrew how good things were throughout this video
Anything piri piri - fries, chicken burger, paneer burger, chicken wrap! These are must try! Also I’d suggest to grab McFlurry with it as the piri piri will be spicy
I am from India and moved to Chicago recently @achara There is Nando's peri peri in Chicago. The Indian peri peri does take precedence over Nando's but both are pretty good. Come to Midwest for Nando's✈
The lava melty-cheese thing that Achara described IS, in fact, a thing. We get this Juicy-Lucy Burger in Dunkin Donuts which has molten cheese in the patty.
Trust me any fast food chain from USA in India is insanely better than the original, whenever I go to McDonald’s,dominos,Pizza Hut,kfc I just simply miss being in India and first thing in my mind would be how good it tastes in India ,the video is just a comparison but the one who has eaten both would know the satisfaction of eating in India ❤
We have pancakes in India i have them very often in breakfast from tilak nagar delhi Mac Donald's and many more items which are not usually available in indian mac donalds idk why its rare but many items do exist
14:50 For me best chicken crispy burger is from 1) Popeyes 2) Chick-fil-a 3) KFC 4) Mc Donalds 5) sandwich from Publix Deli, And finally 6) Wendys In India what close to Popeyes chicken burger is KFC's Crispy chiken burger.
You guys aren't getting the point when it comes to the McChicken.. they charge more for less for that sandwich in the U.S. (not much in weight but considering locations and amount they sell)
5:30 Not Just A Religious Sentiment But Even A Normal Human Also Should Not Eat Innocents 🙌 And I Hate Those Fake People Who Eat The Pork, Beef, Etc And Post Stories With Animals 😠
Well, to give u a perspective, what I consider TOO much spicy is around 150-180gms of green chillies for cooking 1kg of chicken. Anything below that, I won't even blink...
The "Cheese Lava" burgers have an extra patty that's just cheese. The idea is that when you get these burgers fresh and hot off the counter and you take a bite, the cheese inside that patty will be liquid and burst out like lava. So always eat these burgers within the restaurant and never order them home because the cheese layer cools down quickly and solidifies. Then you are just biting into a giant block of room temperature cheese which is not at all appetizing.
My grandfather fooled me and made me eat pork several times when i was a kid, saying its special chicken.... But i liked it and will eat it in future again... I've never had beef, but wouldn't mind trying it.....
At McDonalds Kochi (Kerala) they have started serving McSpicy fried chicken, in direct competition to KFC. Except that in this case, McDonalds has a much better and much spicier fried chicken
(30:10) No Achara, India McDonald's is not healthier. In fact it tastes like feet, I prefer burger king or local burger joints whenever I am craving burgers. :)
Thank you very much for doing this reaction I was waiting for this from a long time and I has sent superchats also in your live streams to do this reaction you told yes and still had not done I thought you would have forgotten but finally it has happened 😀
Dont know about States but I have never liked Mcdonalds burgers here in India. Buns are very dry, patties have no taste, compensated by overly sour sauces. Local burger shops are way better.
Contrary to Nikhil's review in the video, I like Chicken Kebab burger. I think it's better than most of the chicken burgers, except the McSpicy. It's not dry, they actually add Southwest sauce and onions to it. I always get extra lettuce, a cheese slice and an extra patty to make it filling.
McDonald's employee run as soon as they give you the order so you have to be ready to yell " ketchup and barbeque please". If you are lucky you might get 3 ketchup for a large meal.
