Mandolin Srinivas became super super popular as a young boy and passed away too soon, what a loss!! 😪

He is such a loss...passed away way too young...along with many other stuff, his work with John McLaughlin for 'Shakthi' band is just out of the world

U Srinivas was a legend guys........you have only still hit the tip of the mountain.....

The One off - One less part is called the 'Mukthaaya'. It translates to ' The Conclusion'

Vividly remember how he just arrived and rose up gently as a young boy prodigy, mastering the western musical instrument in his finger tips and presenting it to the world rasikas for the first time in Carnatic bandwidth way back in the 80's ( still remember that innocent boyish looking photo on the cassette cover bought home by my dad ). Although he had a great and blessed musical career, where he reached up and above the pinnacle in the Carnatic music world,..his personal life was not that bless full or blissful. He had long and bitter marital discord, which might have taken a toll on his health, resulting in his premature death at a very prime age. Very. Sad that we lost such a genius so early in life :-(

American Jon Higgins came to Tamil Nadu India and learnt Carnatic Classical Music became Higgins Bagavathar one of the best musicians with good voice

Sri Srinivas used almost unsuitable instrument Mandolin with a short neck and frets to play the Carnatic classical music,and yet he successfully captured all the microtones without effort and that was his genius! His early demise was a great loss to the art and the audience!
