As a Bjp supporter, I am happy to see this strong opposition 😂...I am just loving this showdown.. But at the same time, Gov seems spineless..just like UPA 2nd term.

Modi government is in panic mode. It has lost all guts to take tough decisions on reform agenda and has stooped down to freebies and populist policies which will hurt the country in long term. Tax payers are completely disillusioned with this government. The sad part is that the other side is even more populist.

From not listening to opposition at all to over reacting to everything said by opposition, the pendulum has swung to another extreme. DK is spot on, by doing these U turns, the biggest USP of BJP i.e. strong decisive leadership, is being harmed considerably. I am apprehensive about what will happen after the upcoming elections, where most likely BJP isnt going to do well. I hope the top leadership doesn't get paranoid, signs of which sadly are already visible.

1. Wakf Bill going to JPC is not a U turn but a wise move, as it would allow national level debate and build up consensus as also it polarizes two communities. Besides, there is no hurry to pass it today and can wait till the winter session. Further, it will build up a case for UCC too. With Wakf and UCC, appeasement politics should almost end! 2.
