This is sooo pure. This leaves the tech and the sphere useless, and that's the point of Achtung Baby, revealing the truth behind the disguise: "the mask reveals the man". What a song, what a performance. Perfection. The audio being a smartphone is nuts and the camera work is fantastic. I'm one of those who hates when people is with the phone in a live act instead of singing or enjoying the moment, but if you want to capture something, do it this way, 'cause this is incredible.
I have a lump in my throat, and my eyes are full of tears. This is the 2nd time I've heard this version of the Sphere. And, for the love of music, U2 is still in a totally different league. I remember hearing Bono comment on how difficult this moment was, recording the album... And I think about all the moments I have spent with my wife since we were almost children, and all thanks to this beautiful band. The hairs on the back of the neck stand up completely. What a shame not to be able to see them here... But thanks for the video.
Man that is one of my favorite songs by U2. What a killer performance you captured. I had chills going down my arms after that guitar solo by the Edge. Thanks for posting this one🙌✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
I really think they should re release this song exactly as played here (even though I know it won't happen). The haunting melody and lyrics beside the french verse Bono added takes the song to another level. To me, "Love is Blindness" has an unique emocional charge, especially of solitude and sadness and Edge overflow those feelings throw his guitar solo. Amazing capture by the way.
@@sqwk2559 Where did I say that? By the way, do you really think that a video taken with a cell phone compares to a professional camera in terms of video and audio quality? 🤡
Amazing recording Roman. For me this is one of their most underrated songs with a superb piece of work from the Edge. Have seen it a few times over the year. Superb.
Great footage. Always been one of my fave U2 songs a great rendition. U2 still have it, Bono's voice has improved again, The Edge is always great. I wish I was there in person but this is the next best thing
Fabuleux solo ,edge / Bram ,j’entends parfaitement la batterie sans prendre le son à edge C’est magnifique 🤩 💚🤍💛❤️🔥 Merci pour le partage de cette beau passage!
I saw the Zoo TV tour too in 1992. it was awesome and saw them in Phoenix live at he end of 1987 which was filmed. They were amazing. I was living in Sedona Arizona in 1987-1988 so he Joshua Tree desert imagery was so fitting. fell in love with Bono then and it actually broke up my marriage
@@taragreenetarotastroI saw the 1992 St Patrick’s Day Zoo TV concert at the old Boston Garden, a 70 year old arena at the time. The modern sensory overload of music and video in that old building was extraordinary. I saw U2 when they returned in summer 92 at the football stadium, and imo the concert wasn’t as good as the indoor one.
