They’re playing like 2 or 3 steps down because of Bono’s vocal complications after the Joshua tree tour, however that said I’m sure they have less rehearsal time and setup etc.
It seems like many of the artists inducted into the Hall do not perform as well as they usually do. I'm not sure if it's nerves or simply the acoustics of the place. I'm not sure where this was performed but I remember Journey was inducted at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn. That's a big arena, so maybe the acoustics were better there. U2 plays much better in an outdoor arena.
