I loved back then playing Counter Strike 1.6 against bots with this song playing on windows media player

Same for me, my class got a few times a stand in teacher and he would ask us for fun what we wanted to do after putting his feet up on counter. We would ask for football or to go up on the computers in another room. So we played Counter strike 1.6 a few hours, so likely 3-5 different classes. It was here I fell over U2 - Vertigo, either during one of the CS play sessions with others or during an IT class. I also looked up WWE, the same year I discovered about it. This song brings back so many memories.

This song is connected to some very strong memories of my childhood. My parents were/are huge U2 fans and they used to play this (and other U2 songs) a lot when I was growing up and somehow this song really stuck with me. I’m currently doing an exchange year in the US and I can’t talk to them as often as I sometimes would want to so when I start missing them I put this song on to bring back those memories

U2 is my oldest love in music. Bono's voice, Edge's great sound and guitar playing and the solid and original spine of the band with Larry and Adam who are always forgotten... Yeah...THIS comment. I almost had this same idea before I typed in U2. I was actually watching American Idiot, Green Day, and thinking to myself, "There really is no other genre (IMHO) that I care to listen to other than Rock and Roll". Esta canción tiene que ver con un night club llamado “Vértigo” en Cd Juárez Mexico . La historia cuenta que en 1992 U2 visitó este lugar días antes de su concierto en El Paso Tx e allí la canción Vértigo y la numeración en español se refiere al volumen de la música en el lugar

Because the album was titled "how to dismantle an atomic bomb" even as a kid I assumed the bulleye marked the spot for a nuclear test site and the smoke is them being hit by the blast.
