Me too .I was a freshman in high school ..I remember hearing this on our class trip. We took a ferry to NY...I recorded it from the radio on my walkman and played it all night...all I remember thinking was please don't screw the song up, it's perfect... Of course,U2 didn't and it goes down as one of the greatest rock ballads of all time.
