Still streets ahead then the Kiwi's. I do not think they realize up here in the North that the reality is, that NZ keep turning these high quality players out more than any other country on the planet almost on a weekly basis. So even though Ireland got that win last year and the Lions somehow managed to scrape a draw against the All-Blacks, the reality is that NZ rugby is as strong as ever and we are not about to get booted off our top spot anytime soon, whether England beat us in their one offs now and again or not.

Be fair to England (not making excuses) but Eddie Jones took a lot of the original u20 squad to tour Argentina, so this squad deserves credit for getting to the final and shows the depth of english rugby. But fair play to New Zealand it's no wonder the All Blacks are the most dominant team in sports

Not sure why Eddie Jones took England's best under 20 players to Argentina. Would have been much better for their development if they'd played in this tournament and it would have been a competitve game

This has been a decent crop of U20's for us, although the ones who likely have a good future were taken to Argentina with Mercer and Mallins definite names for the future if they continue this well. It will be horrible if Randall misses out because of his size, he performs the basics of a scrum half superbly and is so much faster and accurate than any of our alternatives.

Even though the England side were missing many of their best players due to injury and the senior tour of Argentina, there's no excuse for the reigning champions to lose that badly.

If England had won the game the headline would be England "destroyed", "demolished", "Wallop", "dominate""smash" New Zealand. Even if it was a one point win, because thats what English journos do. So gladly NZ won by 47 points.

The only team that can hold their own against the All Blacks, are the ones i've just seen here..what potential. Remember the Aussie schoolboys of the late 70s completely dominated the rugby world in Europe . This team had the 3 Ella brothers, amongst other future Wallabies. Where are the Indigenous players of today ? They dominate in the NRL ( Australian Rugby League)!

These highlights suggest this was a physical mismatch. It looked like an U20 side against an U16 side. Whistle probably should have been blown early. Clearly New Zealand are far ahead of everyone else at all levels of Rugby. This can work for a few years as we spend our time admiring the Blacks winning all the time. But after a while international Rugby will be devalued. The English and French clubs have been kept in check for now and support the global calendar, which is another huge boost for the All Blacks. But that is not going to be sustainable if all All Blacks teams are regularly turning over all opposition by 30-50 points. The clubs will not support a failing brand of Rugby and will go it alone.
