Nice video. Your kids mentioned that they did not notice any changes in their end-user experience following the upgrade. I wonder what standard you upgraded from when you went to the U7 Pro. I presently have an AP SHD and debating about upgrading to 7 and skip the 6.
We had the u6 pro APs but the point is that numbers are not everything. The experience is what matters. Until more devices fully support wifi7, we won't see much difference in the newer wifi standards. I'd say go with what you can afford. More AP's for better coverage vs higher speeds would be my recommendation. If you only need 1 or 2 AP's to get full coverage you may just future proof your network and go with u7.
They advertise it as 6 spatial streams, but really it's two spatial streams on each band. Most "professional" APs support at least 4 spatial streams. Deceptive marketing? Absolutely. But it's like $200!
All my devices were able to connect after I created a wifi ssid that only had 2.4 and 5ghz with WPA 2 security. I didn't have to make any other special configuration changes. I hope this helps...
