Vst distortions often don't sound pleasant to me, while all the bitcrushers I've used over the years left me underwhelmed with the mushy sound. I'm really impressed with OTO Biscuit though; not only does it sound amazing, blowing all other bitcrushers I've used out of the water, but it's able to create a really wide range of distortion tones.

It’s currently on sale at plugin boutique for $60 (for native VST) . VERY tempting .. Wish I could find a head to head comparison with the actual hardware Biscuit.

Very good. The official demo for this plugin was awful. This one demonstrates the purpose of the plugin much better. I have always personally hated the sound of Bit crushing it makes me cringe. But this one offers a few different flavours. Maybe this is the crusher for me.

Really!!!! I mean REALLY?!?!? BIS-KWEE??? Are these guys for real??? I mean the plug is great and I own it but no need for that pronunciation 🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s BIS-KIT like rich tea biscuit, ugh that’s really grated on me for some unbeknown reason 🤷🏻‍♂️
