Love this band. Everything they've done is awesome. Great live band too, met them at a show, had a beer with their singer and guitarist and talked for a bit really cool guys.
This is the coolest thing the band has put out to date. Devoid of light had solid riffs, leads and vocals where cult of a dying sun just felt like a retread with a slightly deeper/darker tone. This builds on the badassery in devoid of light while bringing new songwriting and tonal elements to the mix that I really appreciate
I think this is quite grand ! 🤘🏻 Uada is one of those bands that uses every inch of sound. No emptiness that a lot of bands seem to have trouble with nowadays
Sounds like the black metal soundtrack to riding your spaceship through the universe with your extraterrestrial companions while chugging beers and looking for adventures. I like it!
@@demjan96 why is that bad? There should be room to grow and take the sound elsewhere. If I want to listen to some raw recordings I will, this is its own thing in a genre inundated with copycats.
Still i find Exercises in Futility to be one of the best Albums ive ever heard in my life. Probably my Favorite together with Imaginations from the other side :)
I really love the vocals from 01:38 to 02:00! Don't know why, but would be awesome to hear more like that. Awesome song, waiting for the album will be hard now!
i've just discovered this band with "Black Auntumn,White Spring" ... well... I think, they've listened carefully many great "bands" of the 90's wave of Norvegian Black Metal and many other Metal influences, the result is ... impressive (for me). Greetings from France. Horns up !!
@@markmurphy6197 I start listening to Stillborn Knowlegde... a Russian band? (at the sight of the names) sorry if I make a mistake, at least a very old culture like ours located further west on the old continent. I'm listening to "White Brand" right now...saxophone...hell yeah...totally incongruous and awesome. Thank you so much mate for that very, very interesting suggestion.
@Unpopular Politics I love listening to static! Thats the whole point of the genre. Underground and for those whole like it only. But I agree with you that the new Uada sounds interesting and I can't wait to listen to the whole album!
This sounds to me more post black than their previous melodeath-black sound. Initially I was a bit confused but after some tries it got really addictive.
It doesn't sound as dark and doomy as "Cult Of A Dying Sun" album (one of my favourite Black Metal albums ever), but it's still a good song! Congratulations, guys!
The first album was like a strongly MGLA inspirated piece of art, but still good, "Cult of a dying sun" was the first step in a new way but still you have the strong MGLA inspiration, now they evolved their own style and its changing
This is amazing, just like all Uada's music. It's already kinda nostalgic to hear all the iconic Uada traits in a new track. I hope this one gets an amazing music video like the last title tracks from the previous 2 albums. Until then, I wish Uada the best in their lives. Hails from Croatia
Wow, I found this is even better than before ! Pretty original and tight/tense, like a furious cover of a punk/post-punk song by a bm band, except it is their own song.
Loving the direction this track is going in but I'm with a lot of the other commenters about the production quality. Really hoping this video is the only one to sound this way. Looking forward to new tunes from these guys.
Listen to Dödsrit, they are one of my favorite bands just for that punk/black metal combination, also if any of you have similar recomendations, that would be great!
The first two albums made me feel like a connection between me and nature (specially the woods), but now I feel like I'm in the dark space and it's mind-blowing. Love this new track. Hail Uada. 🤘🏽🖤
Unique UADA features + some Rotting Christ influences = this amazing track. It also reminds me Karg. I hope the new album will be released soon and it will be as good as this song.
Rotting Christ is completely different vibe Rotting Christ is much more philosophical way of black metal. Chaos philosophy. Uada in the other hand is much more anti cosmic black metal. Both they are amazing Let's enjoy their differences
Thanx SO much, great sound! So good to see that UADA has the energy to bring out a new, fresh song. And an other big thank you for the free download! HAILZ!
This reminds me a lot of the late 90's/early 00's Finnish Melodic DM sound (Kalmah, Norther, Eternal tears of sorrow, etc). I really dig it. Production is terrible though. I'm almost sure this is just like a pre-release to check people's reaction! Already waiting for the new album.
good track. their first two albums are great, but it's nice to hear them depart from the Mgla sound a bit. really dig the second half a lot more than the first half.
Love this song, it gets better with every listen. Also, there's a band that I really like which basically no one knows exists called Oak Pantheon. Their song "Listen!" is really good and a little similar to this track. I recommend you check them out if you like Uada.
Raw, melodic and just plain great progression of sound for these guys. Love it. What's even better is that USBM is sounding better than 90% of the crap from Europe. The Pacific Northwest is where it's at now!
Yes, I am suprised like the rest of the people. I am glad it sounds happy though. I am already extremely depressed. Needed something like this. I can always blast my head off to Snakes & Vultures if necessary
